POWER versus PRAGMATISM: SODELPA, if they are still not grog-doped for POWER, should let either FFP or PAP-NFP form a Minority Government and stay put on the cross benches, voting according to issues. The Minority Government would have to negotiate on each issue, giving SODELPA real and meaningful power, thus the party will be able to build its brand for an early election. If they join another Party, they will suffer the odium of sacrificing their MANIFESTO and will need to follow the discipline of party politics. In the recent election, only 24,172 i-Taukei voters actually bought into the contents of its MANIFESTO
