The Attorney-General’s Office says they have obtained leave to bring committal proceedings against Richard Naidu in respect of a Facebook post which appeared on his Facebook page. A statement on the Fijian Government Facebook Page says we all owe a duty to protect our Courts and Judiciary from scandal or ridicule. They say as this matter is now before the Courts, the committal proceedings will take their normal course.
