JUDICIAL CIRCUS. GRAHAM LEUNG is trying to spin a judicial yarn by claiming acting DPP has the judicial power to appoint Rabuku as Deputy DPP. How about reading Legislative Intention, Interpretation, and Legality

*Surely, whoever drafted the 2013 Constitution, didn't envisage that an acting or substantive DPP would appoint a lawyer (Rabuku) found guilty of gross professional misconduct, with Supreme Court judges ruling against him, as Deputy DPP.
**Graham Leung and his legal sidekicks who want to change the 2013 Constitution should demand that the loophole be rectified and call for the removal of both John Rabuku and Nancy Tikoisuva from the DPP's office.
*We don't think it was the legislative intention of the drafters to vest in the DPP the power to appoint a lawyer found guilty of professional misconduct as Deputy Director of Prosecution.

*The Fiji Law Society should return to the Supreme Court to obtain a second opinion on the recent shambolic and shameless appointment of John Rabuku, and endorsed by Attorney-General Graham Leung.

*The 2013 Constitution allows Sitiveni Rabuka to appoint an un-elected Attorney-General (Graham Leung) from outside Parliament but surely it doesn't allow an Attorney-General if, as a lawyer, he/she had been found guilty of professional misconduct in his/her legal career.
