WILY CONTRADICTIONS. FLS president Wylie CLARKE says he was NOT Malimali's lawyer on 5 September when she was arrested by Ficac? She says 'I asked to make a call to my lawyer'. Who was Malimali's lawyer?

1/6/2025

*SUVA lawyer AMANI BALE who was part of a team of lawyers who negotiated the then newly appointed FICAC Commissioner Malimali's release from FICAC's custody on 5 September 2024 claims:
"Mr [Wylie] Clarke introduced himself together with Ms Laurel Vaurasi as LAWYERS for Ms Malimali."
*Meanwhile, Malimali in her sworn affidavit claims she called Wylie Clarke and asked him to call others to rescue her from FICAC.
"The last person to call me was the President of the Fiji Law Society, Mr Wylie Clarke. Mr Clarke had called me on a Digicel number beginning with 7 so I just called that number. Mr Clarke answered the call and I told him that I had been arrested by my own officers and if he could call the Chief Registrar and I think I also said to call the Commissioner of Police. I asked Mr Clarke to come over and assist me."

CONFUSION REIGNS but who was Malimali's lawyer on 5 September?
*Perjury in a False Affidavit?

*Based on affidavits on us, there is blatant contradiction between the affidavits of lawyer Amani Bale which expressly states that Wylie Clarke introduced himself and Laurel Vaurasi as lawyers for Malimali.
*Clarke says he was not Malimali's lawyer and Laurel Vaurasi says they were representing the Fiji Law Society.
Vaurasi says or rather implies that Bale and Nemani Tuifagalele were the defense lawyers for Barbara Malimali.
*Hopefully, His Lordship David Ashton-Lewis will have provided the required clarity in the COI Report

GOTCHA: Fijian schoolchildren are drawing imaginary cartoon of Malimali's 5 September 2024 arrest when she turned up for work
