Ironically, every hour Fijians living abroad take to Facebook to show off their children, family re-unions, sumptuous and expensive meals, and the wonderful lifestyle they are leading abroad. We agree that the Fiji Immigration authorities have to act but to make the Iranian into some sort of a "vile Muslim terrorist" is uncalled for while we are silent on "economic terrorists" who have fleeced Fiji and their own communities from the debris of coups in Fiji; if he was a young American who had fled from Manus Island, Hollywood would be in Fiji to do a movie, in the mould of ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ, a 1979 American docudrama prison thriller that dramatizes the 1962 prisoner escape from the maximum security prison on Alcatraz Island

Its nearly FOURTEEN years, and mysterious "Harbhajan Lal" is still on "THE RUN", the man who allegedly transferred $2million in Mahendra Chaudhry's Sydney bank account after the 2000 failed George Speight coup for the Chaudhry family to relocate to Australia

"We have to determine for ourselves the real identity of this Loghman Sawari and establish who he really is and how he managed to escape from Papua New Guinea, obtain an air ticket and travel to Fiji" - Mahendra Chaudhry

And yet Chaudhry has neither produced nor revealed the REAL identity of "Harbhajan Lal" the man who allegedly transferred the $2million, and whom Mick Beddoes had described as the mysterious
"Indian Santa Claus"

Chaudhry had opened the ANZ bank account in NZ shortly after he was released from Parliament by George Speight and other nationalist and racist native Fijians; by the time FIRCA cornered him, the NZ account was estimated at $400,000

Fijileaks: Let us wait and see if this young Iranian asylum seeker is a genuine refugee or a mere fraudster like others before him in Fiji who got millions and rode into the sunset. If he is NOT than he should be subjected to the full brunt of the law, for unlike the coupists Sitiveni Rabuka, Frank Bainimarama and others, he does not have IMMUNITY

I agree with Chodry and support his call not to allow refugees into Fiji. Countries who have taken refugees are paying the price for their genorosity with daily threats to their life. Australia, Germany and England are classic examples of the headache that this so called refugees create. Fiji has its own internal problems to deal with. As a country, we dont have the capacity nor the resources to deal with the additional problem of containing the refugees. Let's not open a can of worms and invite disesase of terrorism into Fiji. The coup culture is giving us enough pain that can't last us lifetime. Let's not shoot the messenger. Instead concentrate on the message. Chaudhary may be all that the editor has proven but without a doubt, majority of the Fijians are with him when we say that there is no place for refugees in Fiji.

Now that’s something to think about. Who would have thought that Ratu Ului Mara, the son of Fiji’s first PM Ratu KKT Mara (the Tui Levu) would one day be a Refugee? It is so sad.

In the same token, we suppose, so are (Refugees): Victor Lal, Professor Brij Lal, Professor Wadan Narsey, Justice Daniel Fataiki, Imrana Jalal – and their families –just to name a few famous ones. And so was also Late Ratu Jone.

There are thousands of other Fiji citizens who have left our shores only because they are utterly fed-up with the idiotic rule of Dictators like Rabuka, Bainimarama and Khaiyum.

These Dictators are gun wielding thugs and bullies who have no rights to Rule - except through the barrel of the GUN. They infringe on our Human Rights, give themselves immunity and IMPOSE on us a FRAUD Constitution –and rigged elections and a Judiciary from Sri Lanka.

Talking Refugees is a complex subject matter - as hopefully we are all realizing.

With this kind of bigotry no one is surprised that Fiji itself is a refugee producing country. The extreme old racism is well and alive - if we can only replace and read 'Indo-Fijians' with the word 'refugee'.

We think Bainimarama and Khaiyum are needed to control RACISTS like you for a long, long, time in Fiji, Tomasi.

And Chaudhary is a as the Indians say a 'vina pendhi ke lotha'. Who in today's age agrees with anything that Chodry says - Only the bloody Bigots!!

daaku Chaudhary inherently does not like refugees. Because, it was the refugees' money that Chaudhary pocketed for himself. It is the refugees who have caused him the most embarrassment. He opted not even giving the refugees even ‘a grain of rice’.

Such is the man’s apathy and compassion (zero) towards the poor and the needy and his stance towards refugee Sawari is hence not surprising. daaku Chaudhary is also presently arse-licking the racists in Sodelpa for a coalition.

That “we are hale and hearty” letter of Harhajan Singh, basically makes Chaudhary a ‘refugee’, himself –who once bull-shitted the Indians that he was ‘not safe and secure in Fiji’ and that he wanted to settle in Australia. As WHAT - a Refugee”??

Why didn’t He...? And if He didn’t... Why didn’t He return that money back to the poor Indians? Or why not buy some rice for the Girmit Center Refugee? Eh...?

There is something very seriously wrong with Chaudhary, morally, and it has been for some time and maybe the old Labour Party slogan ‘Its Time for a Change’ is appropriate for its Leadership.

To Refugee Sawari, please thoroughly enjoy our friendly Fiji Islands so if and when you leave our shores, you may remember us fondly and have good things to say about us. God Bless!
