"FijiFirst will continue to place ZERO VAT on powdered milk, rice, edible oil, tin fish, flour, sharps and medicines" -
FFP Election Manifesto, 2014

Why did Khaiyum impose 9% VAT in his 2016 Budget on these items against the FFP Manifesto pledge in 2014
"Madam Speaker, we will propose to this Parliament, legislation to reform the VAT system, which is a part of the daily lives of all Fijians. Under this legislation, the VAT will be reduced from 15% to 9%, and exemptions that currently exist on rice, cooking oil, fish, flour, tea, powdered milk, kerosene and prescription drugs
will be ELIMINATED"

Hello Khaiyum a reminder if you don't mind : the name of your party Fiji First is itself stolen intellectual property. Stolen by you !
You are a man not to be trusted. You are a fraud. That's all.

Fiji First somehow have no established beliefs in what they are trying to do or achieve. They should be credited however for improving infrastructure etc but their purpose, vision and reason for their existence is somewhat confusing and will in the end confuse most of their supporters. The tune to their song is forever changing and eventually no one will be able to sing their songs with them. God help bring back leaders who lead with purpose, integrity and a real desire to serve.

In Fiji Hindi a person like Aiyaz Khaiyum is called a " Bahut gapori fala" - a very prolific liar. And that is precisely what he is.

Everything they do is according to the constitution.

After the next three years they will be licking their wounds in prison.

Go to hell.

Not a good time to be away from Fiji, unless he is out for a special reason.

MPs are currently debating Fiji's future in parliament. Where is the leader of FFP. Should change its name to Fiji Last Party.
