"The culture of silence due to fear of intimidation by those in power further contributes to the lack of transparency and accountability of those in authority that are charged with the responsibility of upholding the law. A SODELPA government will establish a Judicial Commission of Inquiry into acts of torture to hold those responsible fully account for their misdeeds and to be prosecuted before a court of law." Fijileaks: We have cases where we have been led to the gates of justice but at the eleventh hour the lamu sonas and liu muris have let us down - from the likely arrest of your son-in-law for masterminding the 1987 bomb blasts to those who are crying for justice against master torturer Sitiveni Qiliho, currently "studying" in London. It is months and we are still waiting for the promised supplementary medical documents, victim statements etc, etc, etc against Qiliho. One of them is a very prominent loud-mouth SODELPA activist who we have no doubt will re-surface at the next poll. Another victim keeps claiming that his DOCTOR is not releasing his MEDICAL RECORDS and his lawyer claims he can't find his client's papers. Another victim is now displaying the most virulent strain of Fijian version of Christianity, informing us the Fijian Kalou will hold Qiliho to account. Some claim they have relatives inside Fiji. Oh, yes, so do we, and yet still standing up to the murderers and torturers. Another legal eagle and prominent social media commentator rightly claimed he was blindefolded during his beatings and torture but that should not have deterred him from providing a general statement against Qiliho, for a prominent military officer has identified Qiliho as that torturer that day. Sadly, Fiji is FULL of SLIPPERY SNAKES, always ready to CLIMB up the Political and Economic Ladders at any cost. We are tired of hearing the recycled rubbish: ONE CAN'T HAVE THE CAKE AND EAT IT
