A BITTER PILL FOR PUBLIC TO SWALLOW: Mahmood Khan says he was appointed to USP Council by Minister Akbar after he responded to press advertisement. Akbar appointed Fiji Sun's Jyoti Pratibha to FNU Council

We wonder if FFP Government and Fiji National University (owned by all Fijians) advertised for individuals to serve on FNU Council, and whether Pratibha and Aunty Nur Ali Bano, presently leading the Council, also APLLIED and were selected by Education Minister Akbar. As we reminded Electoral Commissioner Kavita Rangia it is perception of BIAS that matters - A BITTER PILL FOR THE FIJIAN PUBLIC TO SWALLOW. The Ranigas donated thousands of dollars to FFP, and so did Bano and her husband, and Fiji Sun's Donation: From WatchDog to LapDog

Fijileaks: The former CEO, Vodafone Fiji, ASLAM KHAN, is NOT on the FFP's Donor List. However, some of the Gujarati merchants portrayed in the cartoon,  as individuals of those companies, and their families, along with other big Gujarati business house families donated nearly $3million between 2014 and 2019 to KEEP FijiFirst Party in POWER. Non-Gujaratis were mostly Indo-Fijian businessmen from Hindu, Muslim, Punjabi and South Indian families. Your ordinary Ram and Khan only voted for FFP after these big business families bankrolled FFP. They were too busy eating Macdonalds in 'Mr Macdonal's' outlets, unaware that part of their meagre purchases were going towards the funding of FFP. There ain't something called Free MacDonalds unless you have donated to FFP. We have forensically identified over 90 per cent of individual donors, their companies, etc, so bear with us, as we continue to reveal the donors

Fijileaks to Edwin Nand: Please, can we have your response to the 'Porn King' photo we sent to you. Its over six months. Take a lesson from Mahmood Khan in responding swiftly to questions when it comes to you. On the issue of BIAS, here is what we pointed out to KAVITA RANIGA:

Hi Victor Khaiyum has placed his uncle there so that he can be the eyes and ears for Khaiyum at USP since Rajesh Chandra left. As is his narcissistic trait he wants to have control. Also it is a great coincidence that a retired Accountant who happened to be the uncle of AG gets appointed to the USP Council. I am sure there are other better candidates for the role. Mahmood spent his entire career in NZ so why the great idea now to serve in Fiji or was he requested by Khaiyum to come over to Fiji and end up with a plush role that pays a lot. All in the family. Khaiyum is sacrificing Fiji's reputation and putting the USP's future at risk by facilitating the bitterness of one Winston Thompson and Mahmood Khan since they did not succeed in getting rid of Professor Pal Ahuwahlia. A central question is why is Khaiyum involved in this in the first place. Isn't that the role of the Education Minister Rosy Akbar? A decision to suspend grant funding to USP should come from the Prime Minister upon the recommendation of the Education Minister. However in Fiji's lala land under Khaiyum the norm is never questioned. Fiji media lack the spine to question decisions of those in authority. Especially this one which goes against everything had the nation has worked hard to achieve which was Pacific solidarity. This incidence only serves to confirm that Bainimarama as PM has no idea of what is going on around in regards to running of the government and leading the country. He has left everything to Khaiyum and blindly following his bidding. The nation and especially the students of the country will suffer. Khaiyum through Winston and Mahmood is trying their level best to bring obstacles to the functioning of USP. My guess is next they will target the registration of USP as an academic institution through the Fiji Higher Education Commission (FHEC). Fijians need to stand up to Khaiyum and hold him responsible for his actions and decision. The Fiji media can start this. I urge the media to be bold and question him. We cant wait till 2022. The damage he is doing to our future will be irreparable. It will take only one brave journalist to do that and others should follow.

Let me guess, contributions to the flipflop party earns you a higher position regardless of how unqualified you are.

Everything in this article speaks for itself pretty much about cronyism and nepotism.
