*We strongly believe that the appointment has been sanctioned by Coupist Rabuka's three-legged wobbly Coalition government because there was widespread concern that NALIVA, Bainimarama's former Personal Staff Officer, was most likely to stage a COUP against the Coalition government. 'Lets sideline him to Australia, matey', theory.
*Naliva had led the arrest of Bau paramount chief Apenisa Cakobau.
*We are also surprised that the so-called anti-Bainimarama regime human rights campaigners are quite as church mouse against the appointment, especially Coalition Minister SAKIASI DITOKA who was former PS to the late deposed Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase.
"As we sat and discussed the happenings of the day, my mobile phone rang and I noticed that it was Captain Penioni (Ben) Naliva’s number. Naliva was and still is the Commander RFMF, Frank Bainimarama’s Personal Staff Officer (PSO). I was seated beside the then Attorney-General, Mr Qoriniase Bale. When I received the call, Naliva said hello to me and then gave the phone to Frank Bainimarama who then proceeded to swear at the Prime Minister and myself in Fijian. He used filthy Fijian swear words that were unbecoming of his office and especially the one that he was illegally seizing. It appeared that Bainimarama was enraged at the news items of the coup especially the interviews of the Prime Minister by the international press.
He used words to this effect, “Ditoka, na cava tale dou se cakava tiko qori? Tukuna vua na luve ni magaitinana qori me sogota na gusuna de’u na lako yani i keri me’u yarataka na domona me vakavodoki i na waqa me fuck-off laivi i nodratou koro. Cava dou vinakata mo dou lai laulaumoku yani e keri? Dou veicai, sa oti na nomudou gauna. Tukuna vua na tamata qori me sogota na gusuna de’u na qai gole sobu yani me’u lai sogota vua”
It can be translated as follows: “Ditoka, what else are you people doing there? Tell that son of his mother’s vagina (referring to the then Prime Minister, Mr Laisenia Qarase) to shut his mouth or I’ll come down there and drag him by the neck so that he can fuck-off to his village. Do you people want to be beaten up? You people fuck each other, your time is over. Tell that person (again referring to Mr Qarase) to shut his mouth or I’ll come down to shut it for him.”
SAKIASI DITOKA after Bainimarama's coup against Laisenia Qarase; the deposed Prime Minister has narrated the incident in his Prisoner 302, confirming our Editor-in-Chief's claim in C4/5 in 2012.
Sadly, the Coalition have not only let me down, but betrayed me once they came to power in the three-legged wobbly Coalition. We will fight on.

Frank Bainimarama sent two of his soldiers (Ben Naliva and Aseri Rokoua) to the Fiji National University on Monday morning (the 31st of March) to chase Pita Waqawai, President of the FTA/FNU, out of his office for revealing to public the marginalization of Indigenous Fijians in the issuing of the Government's Toppers scholarship as revealed in the social medias on the weekend of the Hong Kong Sevens tournament.
In an interview outside FNU Samabula Campus, Waqawai said that his report was based on facts and there was nothing sinister about it. He commented that FNU deals with the education of every Fiji citizens and the Fijian Teachers Association is concerned with the education of Indigenous Fijian students hence the report is completely valid and is within their jurisdiction.
The two soldier bully boys escorted Waqawai out of the University compound where his termination letter was delivered to him by the Manager Human Resources FNU, Poasa Koroitamana.
Below is Mr Waqawai's release that prompted the action of Bainimarama and his staff from the PM's Office.
Update No. 1/2014: Toppers Scholarship

Please, kindly allow me to share this information with you pertaining to the government’s Toppers Scholarship. This revelation was part of presentations at the Fiji Indigenous Business Council forum held last week, quoted in brief as follows: “Toppers scholarship for the top 600 students in Fiji only 14 went to the "real" Fijians and 586 went to the "fake" Fijians. In % terms: 2.33% to Indigenous Fijians and 97.67% to Indigenous Indians Prior to this it was 300 for Fijians and 300 for Indians.” Food for thought – with elections around the corner! Me da kakua ni rere, guce se madua e na kena tutaki saka tiko na dina, liga qaqa tiko e na qaravi tavi, ka kalougata saka tiko.
