SOME local businessmen have claimed to Fijileaks that these lot are allegedly fund-raising for Bainimarama's new political party; from left Lolesh Sharma, Sun Insurance, Kanti Tappoo, Dewan Chand Maharaj of Quality Print, Jim Ah Koy and Vinod Gokal

More importantly are we surprised? They may see this as a necessary investment to protect their ill-gotten interests.

The people that they depend on however to bankroll their loan repayments ie customers who are also voters may not be as understanding nor forgiving.

Does the Political Party Decree require that parties must reveal their political donors names and the amount they are contributing to the coffers

In the case of the businessmen/women they could get away by cheating FIRCA

Why Worry!! their money doing the work......Back in the SDL days (now SODEPA) they form womens wing to run fundraising, for the party, and this MP NEVER thought of this womens on their fortnight pay, womens from one my province, have pay $10.00 per sub for the party, the have get up early and come late in evening looking source of funds, children and father being negelected.
wheres all the fundraising monies .....Qarase trial the marama have to travell overseas US, AUSSIE for support to LQ trial,
