MYSTERIOUSLY, when it comes to the 2018 list (above) of DONORS, the format from 2014 to 2016 has suddenly changed. The column Receipt Number and Received By are MISSING, making it imposible to accept that these donations are accurate and a true reflection of money collected. In 2018, FFP declares $2,501,043.23 it claims the party received from its DONORS. Equally, the format was changed for the 2017 List of Donors to FFP. While in 2018, there is no column for Receipt Number nor Received By, the 2017 List now only has RECEIPT NUMBER and DONOR. In other words, there is no consistency, and the two lists are in breach of the Political Parties Decree

Although companies are prohibited from donating, there are no restrictions, except the $10,000 limit per individual, for those associated with these companies, to make donations to the political parties. During the 2014 general election, the Tappoo family donated a combined obscene sum of $260,000 to FijiFirst Party. In 2017, the Tappoos donated a staggering total of $120,000 to FFP. In 2018, they donated a combined total of $135,000. Between 2014 and 2019, the Tappoos donated a staggering $992,873 to FFP

During the 2014 general election, the Tappoo family donated a combined obscene sum of $260,000 to FijiFirst Party. It is time the donation decree is changed to limit such a large sum of money - a company cannot walk into FFP HQ and donate to the party, but the whole family can get on a bus and splash out $260,000. Although the donation is LEGAL, its an insult to the ordinary Fijian VOTERS, many who are still starting their journey where the Tappoos were 75 years ago. Simply put, WEALTHY business families must not be allowed to bankroll any political party to this extent. There must be a level financial playing field for the rich versus the poor, for the slogan, ONE VOTE, ONE VALUE, to have meaning in Fiji. The Election Slogan, My Vote, My Fiji', is  a mockery. Ordinary Fijians of all races are asking:
What did Tappoos get in return from FFP?

OUTMATCHED AND BEYOND THE ORDINARY VOTER'S REACH:
MADHU TAPPOO, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, donated a jaw-dropping $50,000 to FijiFIRST PARTY

BLATANT RECEIPT MANIPULATIONS: SHAILESH KUMAR who falsely stated in the Donor Lists that he was FFP Founding Member, so was entitled to donate $70,000 in 2014, collected these donations from the Tappoos. But look closely at dates and receipt number. In 2016, Shailesh Kumar records having collected $10,000 from Vinod Tappoo on 14 September and on 13 December records having collected $10,000 each from Jaya and Suresh Tappoo but suddenly he inserts 14 September, recording that he collected $10,000 from Maya Tappoo - reeks of Fraud. As we have stated previously, unless HE and others are taken into CUSTODY we will never understand this jumbled up donation list

These DONATIONS are within the bounds of Aiyaz Khaiyum's Donation Decree but as we have pointed out previously, the general public are entitled to scream that there is Perception of Bias and Conflict of Interest. In 2015 (see below), our Founding Editor-in-Chief had reproduced a series of articles he had written for Coupfourpointfive. That year, from the FFP donors list for 2015, the Tappoos donated a total of $150,000 to FFP. The Tappoos RAGS to RICHES Story in Fiji:

ON 17 May 2018, the Fiji High Court ruled that Neo (Fiji Ltd) must pay AUSMECH SERVICES (AUSTRALIA) LIMITED the sum of $455,090.42 for work done: (a) Air conditioning works at Tappoo City; (b) Fit out works at Tappoo City; (c) Mechanical services at the Duty Free Traders premises at Nadi Airport. The Fiji Court of Appeal dismissed Neo (Fiji) Ltd's appeal, ruling that, 'To deny payment to the Respondent (Ausmech) on its final claim will surely result in unjust Enrichment in favour of the Appellant'.

HOUNDDOG FICAC: From Mahendra Chaudhry to Aiyaz Khaiyum, FICAC has been a tool for exploitation, to be unleashed against political opponents. Most recently, by Khaiyum, as pointed out by Graham Davis:

Good work Victor. However complaint needs to be made to Registrar of Political Parties and the Electoral Commission to have all this investigated. This can be done by a registered voter as private citizen or by the political parties. All evidence is there for the public to see but let's see what the relevant authorities can do and if FICAC has any teeth. Khaiyum and FFP is very quiet on this matter of donors and the irregularities highlighted in the public domain. Once they close government and power there is ample evidence to take this to court and have the 2014 and 2018 election results nullified. Not so smart after all Khaiyum. Karma is a bitch and will come back to bite you and your cronies one day.

Transparency was never part of FFP's specialty, it will all come crashing down on Bhaiyum in due course.
