Fijileaks: Why should western i-taukei Fijians bend and bow to FFP?

In 1963, the firebrand late APISAI TORA (Western Democratic Party), who then unsuccessfully contested the western Fijian seat in the Legislative Council against his opponent and paramount chief and later president, the late RATU SIR PENAIA GANILAU, had charged that the easterners ignored the western people, telling his political followers in the western township of Ba:
'You have been ruled by leaders from other areas who treated you with calculated contempt. Your division is the most important because from it comes the economic lifeblood of the colony. You deserve to be treated as first-class citizens. You must confess that deep inside you there was a longing to see the day when your kinsman in western Fiji, would rise to become leaders in their own domain and perhaps the whole [of Fiji].'

Fijileaks: Why should Non-Western i-Taukei Fijians have monopoly on power? And Western i-Taukei Fijians must just accept bread crumbs from the FFP government?

*Bainimarama says many of them know that the original WUF was the Western United Front, which sought the separation of their region due to sentiments of neglect and isolation from the rest of the nation.

Fijileaks: No, Bainimarama, WUF was not planning to separate due to neglect and isolation. While you were sailing the sea, our Editor-in-Chief in 1982 was privy to Ratu Osea Gavidi's thoughts and plans for his western in-Taukei kinsmen, and had covered WUF's formation.
*The West, the breadbasket of Fiji's economy, wanted a stake in political power. For decades the western i-Taukei Fijians were ruled and ordered about by Eastern, Central and Northern Fijians. In 1987, they finally had their own Prime Minister, but the northern vulagi thug with guns and the excuse that Indo-Fijians had taken over Fiji overthrew

The Carroll Report was leaked to our Editor-in-Chief by the team's Australian market researcher Rosemarie Gillespie at the
​Suva Peninsula Hotel in 1982. 
*The Fiji Times owner Mahendra Motibhai, hiding in Australia, had FUNDED the Carroll Report to ensure Alliance Party retained power

1987: RABUKA - MOST VIOLENT MILITARY THUG TO HAVE GRACED FIJI'S SCENE:

*In 1989, Rabuka had deported this Australian market researcher turned lawyer Rosemary (Rosemarie) Gillespie (4 February 1941 – 21 June 2010). In 1982, she had leaked to our Founding Editor-in-Chief the so-called "Carroll Report" which had been commissioned by PM Ratu Mara and Mahendra 'Mac' Patel on how to win the then forthcoming 1982 general election. Our Founding Editor-in-Chief was then on the old Fiji Sun, reporting alongside Nemani Delaibatiki, Peter Lomas etc, etc, etc. *Gillespie had passed on the "Carroll Report" to our Editor-in-Chief at the Suva Peninsula Hotel.
*The Fiji Sun published extensive abstracts despite repeated threats and raids on its office to locate the 'Report'. Our Editor-in-Chief also used the Report and other highly sensitive materials from Gillespie to write a definitive account of the 1982 general election (see Fiji: Coups in Paradise - Race, Politics and Military Intervention).
* Five years later, in 1987, Rabuka not only forcibly shut down the old Fiji Sun but Delaibatiki was taken up to the military barracks in Suva, had a gun put to his head, and reminded that his life was worth the cost of the bullet in the revolver: 27 Fijian Cents.
*The Fiji Sun publisher and the paper's lawyer Miles Johnson were thrown in the same cell as deposed Prime Minister Timoci Bavadra.
*Now, "THUGRABUKA" is back, offering himself as the best political candidate to remove FFP.
* We have repeatedly stated that he should renounce his 1988 IMMUNITY so the 2006 Coupists and their Supporters can be brought to Justice. * Shortly after her deportation, Gillespie informed our Editor-in-Chief that she had merely gone to Fiji for a HOLIDAY.
*The thug never gave his reason. Despite the deportation and subjected to death threats, Gillespie remained extensively involved in
the Movement for Democracy in Fiji.
​She died of a stroke in 2010. RIP.

INSULT: If Western i-Taukei Voters make Rabuka Prime Minister, they would be insulting the memory of Dr Bavadra, who never enjoyed the democratic right to lead Fiji. Today, the same thug and his cunning supporters are demanding that RFMF must accept A RABUKA WIN
