| LAST year, a child allegedly committed a sexual act on another child “after seeing the parents doing it”, Minister for Education, Heritage and Arts Rosy Akbar told Parliament this week. She revealed this while speaking on a motion for Parliament to ratify the Optional Protocol on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography. When will Rosy Akbar ask her boss, Prime Minister FRANK BAINIMARAMA, why his son MELI has posted graphic porn videos of himself and his sexual partners on the internet (including on Chinese websites), which any CHILD in Fiji can watch on his or her mobile
phone in school or out of school, or in the privacy of their rooms. We sent the graphic videos to Bainimarama and his side-kick Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum for comments but we never heard a word from them, neither in writing nor via ZOOM from SINGAPORE. We call on the highly moralizing Education Minister ROSY AKBAR to report Meli Bainimarama to Fiji Police for corrupting the minds of Fijian students and demeaning his female sexual partners by exposing their identities in those porn movies. These videos have the potential for inciting the rape of our female students in schools, villages, and university campuses.
