The illegal activities of this Regime keeps adding. Just in the last 48 hours, they have EASILY managed to destroy a media company MAI TV with yet another decree to help ASK's brother Wannabee CEO NZ jobless Raiyas K obtain the FIFA World cup by fraud. Now this??????? ASK and Bai, you will be history come September. Erode our BASIC RIGHTS and you pay the price.

Bainimarama WILL Win Election
6/6/2014 06:45:04 pm

Bainimarama will win because SODELPA has not come clean to show the Indians they are no longer the same SDL racist party.

SODELPA must show the Indians particularly the farmers that landowners will not be allowed to bully their tenants by demanding things as they did in the past and they will be dealt with as money does not fall of a tree for these Indians who are trying to make ends meet.

They must come up with policies that attrack the Indian votes and those city dweller Fijians who like to sleep in peace in their iron bar houses.

They must do policies that take that one vote away from Frank as only Frank's bully tactic has produced some results to a peaceful or rather less fear in recent years, sdespite crime on the rise again.

Let those votes go to others and only SODELPA can show the new direction to these target voters.

You are 100% correct. Bainimarama's is confident because of his Indo-Fijian backing. SDL was so RACIST -as to be criminal - they have shown no remorse either up until now - so where is their appeal? And as far as FLP goes Chaudhary has NO credibility. So all the way for Bainimarama and his STOLEN party - Fiji Theft Party.

I disagree BWWE

BWWE, I disagree. I am not indigenous but I feel the generosity of the Indigenous people always shines through regardless of their protectiveness of their culture, LIVEIHOOD and ways. I feel it's us "OTHERS" that cause the most effective problems in Fiji because of that paper we call "MONEY"

doing the dirty on the people link

that's been pretty much the norm, hasn't it? I mean doing the dirty on the people of fiji since taking over. it's a rogue regime that has shown no abiding respect for the civil and political rights of the citizens. it should therefore come as no surprise really to learn it has also been listening in to phone calls.
just remember we have scoundrels in power.

FilipoTarakinikini involvement in 2000 coup

Insider's view of Fiji coup2000-12-29 15:49

Auckland - The joke used to be that thanks to the "coconut wireless" nothing was ever secret in the South Pacific but during a coup in Fiji this year it was spies, special forces soldiers and some very sophisticated transnational monitoring at work.A top political source outside Fiji told AFP they had a unique view into the set up of the coup plotters as well as the Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) and as a result, knew much more than even now has come out."If you could see what came across my desk you would have a different view of it all," the source, who did not want to be identified, said. But within an hour of the 2000 coup, one top New Zealand government official said off-the-record that the coup was actually led by Police Commissioner Isikia Savua.Vodaphone, Fiji's only mobile phone operator and which ended up providing all the players with cellphones, usually the ubiquitous bright orange pre-paid unit, has also played its part in providing a clearer picture of the coup.Legal sources say authorities now have the complete list of everybody the coup plotters called, and those who called them, before and after 19 May. Intelligence services outside Fiji also have the lists and despite digital encryption by Vodafone, they were listening, a diplomatic source said. This is illustrated in the case of Lieutenant Colonel Filipo Tarakinikini, an RFMF spokesperson.Last month, during a military mutiny, New Zealand Foreign Minister Phil Goff said he believed Tarakinikini had in fact played a key role in the May 19 coup. Tarakinikini denied it and threatened to sue. Goff, while holding his ground, was unable to release any evidence to back up his statement.Sources say the "convincing" evidence could not be released as it came via the New Zealand Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB)...."
