Adi Vakacegu Veronika Ralogaivau Malani to FIJI POLICE, 5 July 2020
"I could clearly recalled [recall] on the 18th October, 1987, I was standing on our driveway when a car drove pass and threw a package down our driveway which instantly exploded. There was one passenger in the car who threw the package down. I indentified him as the Honorable Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum who is now the current Attorney-General, Minister of Justice and other Portfolios. I was injured together with my mum (Late Fane Ralogaivau), housegirl (Late Bala Kurulo). We were seriously injured and taken to the hospital. My right arm, right finger, right thigh and the right side of my body were badly injured and burnt. My aunty Asena Batiwei and my brother, Ratu Benedito Ralogaivau was inside the house, rushed to see us after they heard the blasted explosion. I feel the Honorable Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum intention was to kill me. Later the police informed us that it was the same group called Fiji Freedom Fighters who was responsible for the bombing of my mum and brother at MH the previous day and now they have attacked our residence. After a week, my brother and I identified Khaiyum and two others for the bombing at MH and my resident respectively."

Fijileaks: Although Malani's allegations are dynamite to Khaiyum's detractors, we have exercised our right not to pass judgment on the bomb blast incidents in 1987. However, either Aiyaz Khaiyum was the BOMBER or HE wasn't, HE MUST STEP DOWN so Fiji Police can conduct a free and fair investigation. As Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Khaiyum can't be seen by law-abiding Fijians as that 'Fox Guarding the Henhouse' or 'Dracula Guarding the Blood Bank'. Police must approach him without FEAR or FAVOUR. His last whereabouts was as 'a cane cutter' among cane farmers in Ba, and later as a 'devotee' at a Lautoka temple, according to his official Fiji Government account

Khaiyum's dark secrets seem to be catching up to him since they won't stay buried in the past, its no wonder the guy has some serious paranoia with all that interference and spying going on since his "circle of friends" are currently dwindling.
