ALIKI SALUSALU - the suspected 'Desert Hacking Fox' - has been recalled to Fiji immediately for all the years of alleged subversive activities and the undermining he had been involved in against Frank Bainimarama, Aiyaz Khaiyum and most viciously against his Ambassador Robin Nair, with dissidents groups in the UAE and in the Fijian Foreign Ministry.
The Fijian Foreign Ministry had been aware of these activities but procrastinated in taking appropriate and timely action. It is believed that Bainimarama had to intervene personally to demand action. Salusalu's co-conspirator, First Secretary Emosi Rakai, was sent off on leave and has been denied any extension of contract. It is believed both of them will not be returning to the Fijian Foreign Ministry. Rakai was also accused of speaking to the IRB during the Dubai Sevens and the Fiji One saga, reporting to IRB, on behalf of his Fiji One brother-in-law.
