Bangladesh doesnt have such incompetent disaster managers as we have in Fiji.. Case: lack of power 8+ days after TCW. The issue is not power lines as much as hydro power lines. FEA doesnt want to burn diesel so has slowed down connections, and where connections are made, they are only for a few hours. They are waiting for hydro grid to be up. Such greed. And such an ignorant government which cant see through this. No power means no factory running, thus tin making factory is closed; nail factories re closed, timber mills are closed... Incompetence at its worst (Or is this the way to help Vinod Patel, Manubhai, etc to profit through shortage... all these companies are on Govt boards through their sons)..

Yes, makes sense. The disaster management team is incompetent. I have seen this first hand, being involved in operational contracts. We cant rebuild Fiji unless we have affordable building materials.
