The Gujarati community who came to Fiji in the 1920s as "Passenger Indians" to open businesses donated over $4million to FijiFIRST PARTY The donors comprised the Gujarati Chor Rot Ya Patels and Gujarati Sonaars. The Indo-Fijians (North Indians) donated $1,740,824; South Indians, $631,153, and Indo-Fijian Muslims, $868,794. We will identify non Indo-Fijians later. We also wonder if the owners of MacDonalds Fiji broke franchise laws by donating to the FijiFirst Party? As we have also revealed, lot of the big companies donated on behalf of their staff to FFP
One has right to ask what did the donors get in return from Aiyaz Khaiyum? We stand by our earlier call for an Independent Commission of Inquiry, and now demand FICAC must take over the investigation
Fijileaks revised analysis of the FFP list reveal that the party collected $8.1million. We have already identified double donors and have also called on FICAC to take into custody SHAILESH KUMAR who donated $70,000. We have also called on Election Supervisior to explain why it took him SIX LONG YEARS to certify the party donation lists. For if he had discharged his legal duty, FFP would have been banned from fighting the 2018 Election, and Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum possibly in PRISON
