Comment by Anit Singh: Don't Vote for the Chor Party

The FijiFirst party and their various aspiring candidates stand under the banner of a STOLEN name, a STOLEN logo and the STOLEN color of our Fiji Flag. It just shows how unoriginal and unimaginative lot they are. They are no thinkers, philosophers or visionaries – No, they are just CHORS.

Bainimarama is a CHOR and so is AIYAZ - a CHOR– they are both (sly and sneaky) CHORS. They STOLE ruthlessly and without shame, our Fiji First Party name. This is a FACT which is beyond any reasonable doubt – AIYAZ and BAINIMARAMA are both CHORS.

CHORI is a trait – as the saying goes if they can STEAL an egg they will STEAL the chicken (Murgi Chors). Do not let them STEAL your future – Because that’s what CHORS do – they STEAL.

I APPEAL to all my Family and all my Friends – DO NOT vote for these two CHORS! CHORS belong in Naboro but Parliament.

this maharaj fala sounds to me like a tatti fala. quite a number of them have joined the Fiji Theft Party to promote their own interest all the while pretending that they care about the ordinary grassroots people.

If this Maharaj fala had run away from Labasa 10 years ago and is comfortably settled in Waila, Nausori how has he got a ticket to fight the elections to represent Labasa people? Did he put in the right kind of "donation" to the Fiji First Party? We know Bainimarama and Khaiyum love to get donations from business people and this fala is a business man selling medical drugs, etc.
Has only 20 people turned up for his campaign meeting in Vunivau because most people know he is not a true representative of the labasa people?

Many Labasian have proved to be opportunist. Many have also benefitted in Ministry under Brij Lal too. So Maharaj didn't miss his turns with chicken and eggs. Put some big eggs in mouth and wait for vote.

I agrees 101% with what Anit Singh says. Parliament is supposed to be a House for Honourable men and women. Bai and Kai are not honourable men. They are ruthless thugs. And the people who have joined their party with a stolen name are just opportunists who see this as an ideal opportunity to put more butter on their bread. Yes, don't vote for them.

Hi Folks
I am not a voter or supporter of any political party or known to any candidates.

Consider me a well wisher for Fiji and ALL its people.

However it saddens me that personal attacks are made on individuals and family members.

Do treat others with dignity and respect and debate the issues rather than personalities.

Such crudeness reflects poorly on our heritage and culture and gives ammunition to those who think we are 'weeds' .

Surely, we as a people are able to articulate our views better than this and need need not succumb to such levels where name calling is warranted.

For the record, I am ex Suvan

It is for you to tell the idiots referring to our culture our heritage and us Indians as weeds. Repeatedly tell them our fathers actually toiled the soil and CLEANED all the weeds out to help educate them and create funds for their own infrastructure.

Ask them to show respect to their forward thinking Chiefs who helped to create the environment for their comfort today. Some handful of black sheeps do not speak for the rest of ITaukei.

It is for you to tell them that our forefathers and mothers sacrificed a meal daily to divert those to feed their children and use that to pay to educate them.

We were not prevledged to free education, but it was Indian input in parliament that called for free education up to class six for our indegenous populous so they can clean up their own WEED.

It is for you to tell them those sweat of our forefathers paid sugar cane taxes paid way for allocating some of those funds in budget to plant pine in rest of their land as a payoff, so they who did not have any farming skills and a continuity to farming to survive were provided for the comfort for their future generation.

It is for you to tell them their greed to grab what was therefore OURS is what led to re-planting of WEEDS in those cane fields that destroyed not only economy but also many lives now living in squatter settlements.

The ALTA Land was like freehold donated to the State for national economical development but with a small token rental to reward them for lifetime hence remained as leasehold legally for the purpose of distribution of rent money for which NLTB was created to manage the lease money for the the owners.

These ALTA land is for economical development of Fiji, and therefore non transferrable to the land owners. But State can surrender it back to land owners any part of it if they apply for it by showing evidence they no longer have vacant land for their own use.

Majority of this falls under Ba Province and those that got taken back are full of WEEDS awaiting handouts which our forefathers were NOT priveledged to.

You should be asking Fiji First Party as government will they provide 75 year lease for the ALTA Land as was proposed by SDL led Government and why they have not given this in their 8 years in govt? Same question goes to SODELPA.

Qarase understood the economics associated with return on investment to Indians as investors as well as those Fijians that were also leasing ALTA land hence had offered 75 year lease to return them back to cane farming.

BUT his driving force advisors had greed trying to have to return these land to the landowners by abolishing ALTA ie. surrendering donated land to State back to the landowners and release under NLTA. Now they have WEEDS that are being cleaned up but only Chinese brooms to clean up with now.

Go on to the top of Fiji Leaks page and click on "CRC submissions" to read what the original Fiji First Party stood for and what the new FijiFirst stands for.

Secondly on lack of credibility for aspiring candidates in social and family environment does have some basis for choosing your best candidate and team for parliament. They show their best in their own cv promoting themselves... so what voters may think are not what they are looking in their candidate is a fair call to make.

That is politics ... and even your Barkka Chaudhry is referred as CHOR for he has not opened the books with proper evidence on his $2m and what happened to Cyclone Amy Funds, but went on to sack the Auditor General and throw Russel Hunter out of the country and plant the seeds of controlling media freedom for Aiaz to continue that trend.

Given Fiji has seen a cycle of coups and enormorsities within, time has arrived to vote of the "outsider horse" in this election.

In horse racing when you pick an outsider and if they win, you make most money than supporting the favourites.

Outsiders are all other party except FijiFirst, FLP and SODELPA.

Or you will be left with millions of tarsealed roads but no revenue to show for to additional reinvestment to pay off those debts.

So give your tick against any three names who will choose their best to join their team. These are pick candidate numbers for Felix Anthony, Biman Prasad and Vasarogo.

Let them set up a team from their camp and move Fiji forward.

A letter writer in the Age 10/9 says " Mr Abbot has created a 'Team Australia' that many of us in voter land are embarrassed to be a part of".

Dear Fellow Readers

All I suggested was that name-calling and attacking personalities is unbecoming.
Lets show some dignity and refrain from this.

Discuss and debate the issues. These are real people with real emotions and words are just as hurtful as the sword.

What will all this shouting achieve? At the end of the day rational and cool heads will get results.

And belittling another shows the disunity in a community which demonstrates a weakness for all to exploit.

Will we ever learn from History or do we keep repeating the same mistakes?
