The children of Fiji now require more than Tony Robbins to speak to them. The children of Fiji require God Almighty and Our Lady of Victories to pull Fiji up by the bootstraps to deliver them the protection, the safety and security that is theirs By Right. May Julie Alexander now Rest in Peace. May Due Process and Justice be fully and transparently engaged so that confidence and trust may be restored. We wait to see with impatience.

Police Chief of Operations is another idiot as Fijileaks is right about your comment on "attempted suicide." My sincere and heartfelt condolence to Ms Julie Alexander's family.

A case of using the wrong word "attempted suicide" It seems though from reports that she took paraquat and did not die immediately but later in hospital. Thats where the Police spokesperson needed to check her English.

Everytime someone suicides, I grieve for a precious life lost unnecessarily. Like all others so far, I join in extending sincere condolences to Julie's family.

One other thing: the tone of Kean's letter to her was bullying and threatening. It contradicted the verbal assurances Julies says she received from the Minister of Sports. Shouldn't Kean be held to account for this?

He could have invited her in for a cup of tea at Rugby House to discuss her plans in a civilised and cordial way. Instead, his thuggish instincts got the better of him. He has not changed at all and should now be man enough to resign (if he has the balls to).

If the email exchange is anything to go by - and any expert witness will tell you it is - then Julie Alexander was clearly the subject of threats and intimidation . What else went on behind the scene? If Julie committed " attempted suicide " as the police idiot claims , then we need to ask was she driven to it? Who drove her to that point? Or, did something more sinister happen?
Many unanswered questions in this tragic case...

Exactly!! Why do I already have the feeling that the Police will not conduct any further investigations and leave this as a suicide case ... #WelcomeToParadise

As someone who has suffered the trauma of having lost very dear friend and family to suicide I am deeply saddened to learn that Julie Alexander has died after " attempted suicide" . It is good to know the police will be investigating and we will know more about what happened . We are still waiting for police investigations in other cases.
What is so sad and tragic is that this woman could have lived a good life in many affluent countries of the world were she had lived temporarily but decided to return to the country of her birth .
There is only one reason for that : her overwhelming love for Fiji and its people.
It is so sad that it has cost her her life.

True. It is sad when someone commits suicide. Worst is that especially in Fijian Community when a person talks in a unusual way instead of helping we say ''are pagala hai'' lia lia , he/she is mad.

Fiji needs education on picking up on the signs to realise that person needs help before its too late. I have heard the speeches on mental illness in Fiji but no one talks about 'signs'.
