"The impact Osea Kolinisau had on the game of sevens in the last two seasons outclassed any performance by Seabelo Senatla [of South Africa] and they are disappointed Kolinisau was not awarded the Sevens Player of the Year"

The Fiji Rugby Union is in the process of expressing their concerns and disappointment to World Rugby after the World Rugby Awards yesterday.

After missing out on all three awards, the Fiji Rugby public was disappointed as well as other fans around the world who have expressed their thoughts on social media.

The FRU says while it respects the achievement of the All Blacks during the year, they strongly believe that the impact of the Fiji 7s team winning back to back World Sevens Series titles and more importantly winning the Gold Medal at the Rio Olympic Games had a far greater impact to the game of rugby globally.

In a statement, the Fiji Rugby Union says the Fiji Sevens team with the limited resources available to them have outperformed any other rugby team in 2016.

It says the Rugby World expects the All Blacks to do well every time because they have all resources available to them.

The Fiji Rugby Union also says the impact Osea Kolinisau had on the game of sevens in the last two seasons outclassed any performance by Seabelo Senatla and they are disappointed Kolinisau was not awarded the Sevens Player of the Year.

Where was disgusting anger when FRU chairmanship went to KEAN when there were far more DESERVING CANDIDATES FOR THE TOP JOB?

LASHING OUT at World Rugby Union in fit of pique is all "Keanism"

FBK seems to be a powerful man hiding behind the scene.

Chairman of FRU and have a lot of influence on the team management especially the coach. The team line-up and other things. One of his pet (No.9) played through out the game against barbarian despite his poor performance. it seems anyone who will sub him will get the boot.

He did similar thing with Suva and Namosi, Suva and Macuata.

Why have this type of person in rugby house.

If you do proper investigation, you will learn there was an Indo-Fijian witness when Francis Kean murdered Whippy... He was murdered so that the murder charge could be converted into manslaughter (no witness + guilty plead = leniency from court) That mean Francis Kean actually planned a murder while he wasn't drunk with the support of the State!!!
