FUGITIVE FROM FICAC?: Is the regime sending Kamlesh Prakash to Abu Dhabi to escape FICAC taking him in for questioning; he is very close to Foreign Minister Inoke Kubuabola from their Japan days as APO Senior Officer and was seen actively campaigning for Aiyaz Khaiyum and Mahendra Reddy and FFP during the September general election! Is Abu Dhabi a passport to diplomatic immunity from interrogation and prosecution?

My name is ____________(name and job description withheld by Fijileaks) and I was ________when the merger with FNU took place. In my opinion the merger idea was never a good idea as it was motivated by the need for Ganesh to get his hands on the Levy funds. Anyway Ganesh appointed his first cousin Kamlesh Prakash as Director NTPC and it turned out that Kamlesh and Ganesh were birds of a feather. Please see attached email correspondence between myself, the Manager Electrical Training (Technical Experts) and Kamlesh when he appointed a training officer without following due process only to find out that the person he appointed was a syrup maker and not a trained Electrical expert. You will see that Kamlesh is as much a dictator as Ganesh. You may print the email but please keep the names out as some are still working at NTPC. I was eventually pushed out by Kamlesh because I would not allow myself to compromise my principles. I have also attached some documents relating to my case

Victor, I wonder why you have problems with Indo-Fijian appointments only? Would you rather prefer to have only I-taukei's and Muslims holding key positions in government and as diplomats and Indo-Fijians reverted to third class status. Seems like Butadroka has died but his philosophy lives on with people like you. It's Indo-Fijians like who ignite the fire when there should be none and hide in far away adopted lands to enjoy the fun. Yes, bainimarama came into power through a coup similar to rabuka and qarase. He has won the election fair and square so let him rule. If any changes us needed, the citizens of this country will decide in the next election. It's good to be critical but absurd when the critism starts becoming shallow and agenda driven. Unfortunately, that's what your site has recently scammed to of late.

There are many who has done lot worse and are being continuously herald as a hero in this site. Rabuka and Naiqama to name a few. Tikolevu and Waqabaca has also sacked many staffs and ruined many lives. So they are immune being natives but if an Indo-Fijian makes a decision, he has done so intentionally to ruin someone's life. Ganesh Chand is facing court for his crimes. Kamlesh is his family but that doesn't mean that he is not qualified or suitable for a management role. I have known him for sometime now and I know that he is amongst the best that Fiji has. The only reason he is targeted is because he is Indo-Fijian. That's the problem of most I-taukei's in Fiji- they will fall head over heels into eating shit if it is presented to them by an European or I-taukei but ignore food if it comes from Indo-Fijian. Learn to become as see each other as humans first before becoming/looking at one another as a Fijian, Indian, Muslim, Chinese etc

The election was stage managed by the Minister for Elections cum Secretary General of the Fiji First Theft Party of Bainimarama Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum. Under his tailor made constitution. Bainimarama's rule is an extenstion of the dictatorship he imposed since 2006. If you can't get that stick to accounting.

@dekho, the same can be said of the 2001 and the 2006 elections and many elections before that as well. Chaudhary and troop were shouting from the rooftop that the elections were rigged. Now, SODELPA supporters like you are doing the same. Things always doesn't go the way that we want and once it doesn't, accept it and wait for the next legal opportunity to make it right. FYI- my accounting was always weak and I have no intention nor young enough for s career change now. I'll good being a communications specialist. @pandey, FF is not my government. It's the Fijian Government. Read my comment again before commenting. In short, I was saying that only a handful of people shooting their mouth off that the election is rigged doesn't make it rigged. Chaudhary has been shouting all his life about elections being rigged whenever he lost. If his was a case of sore loser, the current noise pollution is also a case of sour grapes. Get over it and wait for the next election.

@On-Song, if you ever get time, go to merchant club and you can see the decency of most of the opposition/government members and top level government employees especially the esteemed I-taukei. During my Fiji Times days, I saw a lot of decency involving Fijitimes editorial female staffs and SDL ministers and some current SODELPA executives like Simione Kaitani, Irami Mataravula, Anare Jale and the likes. Kamlesh Prakash as Director of the merged TPAF (NTPC) has basically destroyed Technical Industry training in Fiji. He is just a Yes man who put other yes men in positions of authority at NTPC. In Narere, TPAF once had vibrant evening classes in most of the trades but is virtually empty now days. This means that industry workers are not getting upskilled and industry will suffer...the result will be more foreign workers in Fiji and increased unemployment..

Anti-Indian bashing by supposedly former Fiji Indians. You guys are a joke. I know Kamlesh and interacted with him many times in my professional capacity. He is just as decent as any decent person in Fiji can be. And a fine diplomat. I know that technical training is at all time high in Fiji; all my friends in the FEF are pleased with the changes Kamlesh brought about. The only ones displeased are those sacked or sidelined for stealing, taking bribes, selling certificates, picking double pays, taking cuts from suppliers, etc. during TPAF days. Alas most of these are, shamefully for me, my brethren. Former Fiji Indians should learn to accept that there are good and capable Indians in Fiji, just as there are capable Fijians and capable whites in UK.

@Tomasi Koroi, please go to NTPC and check the data for yourself. Training departments are struggling to make up the numbers in classes. For example the Industrial Automation Training Program that was thriving in 2011 and 2012 could not even exceed 5 participants this year. The Training Officer is now teaching some Electrical Classes even though he does not have the required qualifications. Construction programs are in a similar situation. Decent does not equal Competent...Your Friends in FEF need to seriously get on the ground and do some genuine fact finding because their levy money is being wasted.
