there is nothing surprising about dirty large donations by dirty business men to a dirty political party. it is a fact that dirty business people like to have dirty politicians in power to facilitate their business interest. this is the reason for the huge donations and support from the business wallahs to Bainimarama-Khaiyum and the Fiji First party. and, this is why Bainimarama was happy to go to elections because he knows with all the crooked things they have organised to mobilise support he knows he has NO FEAR OF LOSING THE ELECTIONS.

it's simple. crooked business men know they have a good thing going with the Bainimarama gang in power so they want to "help" keep it THAT WAY.

Election is just around the corner and the Fiji First party "government" is giving out free rubbish bins to buy votes. This too is a Fiji first!

thank you Victor Lal and the FijiLeaks for digging out this dirty donations to Fiji First and placing it before the public so that they can judge for themselves the true character of the leadership of the Bainimarama - Khaiyum Fiji Theft Party. That is if they wish to do that.

It's that kind of donation - donation to buy favours from the politically powerful. And who is politically powerful in Fiji presently? Yes, you guessed right. It's the coup leader cum self appointed PM Bainimarama's Fiji First. So it is "logical" that kinda donation should go to them. The greedy business mob are not stupid. They know where to "invest" their money to get the best return. It's with the gang who give out the approvals for the business deals.

What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul?

Thank you again Victor for keeping us informed. Vinaka

Getting dirty donations is one way among others to get the "free and fair elections" spineless Election Commissioner Larry Thomas is dreaming about.

Regular letter writer Allen Lockington cannot be said to be anti-government by any stretch of imagination. So when someone like him writes in to say "this vile thing has happened" - that he knows of certain people who were being "coerced into voting for a certain party" (FS 7/9) - that can't be dismissed as just the rumbling of an " anti" ( as pro-regime propagandists like to label all critics of the Bainimarama government).
Allen's revelation further convinces me that the Bainimarama-Khaiyum regime has installed their operatives in all strategic places to get people to vote for their party - the Fiji First party. Now it's not hard to see why Bainimarama has so bombastically been proclaiming publicly that he is confident of winning all 50 seats. Don't be surprised if he does!

The photo showing Frank campaigning seems to show 75% are minors in the crowd i.e. non voter aged.

Are these Fijians linked to RFMF family being sent out to show numbers for Frank so that the voter counting can be justifed by the crowd attending to hear him at rally?

In the "new" order in Fiji the alliance between the business class and the political elite has been taken to a new unprecedented level of corruption and patronage. It is now a fully fledged you scratch my back and I lick your balls political culture that has been entrenched by the rogue rulers.
