DOWNBEAT: Professor Wadan Narsey, in an interview with ABC's Pacific Beat, recently expressed fear of civil unrest, especially against FFP big business donors. Now, the CWM Hospital staff and patients go HUNGRY

2/7/2021

Fijileaks: Fiji's agony, hunger, corruption, suffering and COVID will end only when Military Council steps in and arrests this "Corrupt Bastard". While Fijians are eating "para grass" to survive, he is paying his armed BOCIGUARDS $72,000 plus perks so he can swagger around Fiji and the world. They even accompanied him to Singapore and India this year. He indirectly brought the deadly Indian Covid virus into Fiji via Fiji Airways. And, every month, he is forking out $38m to keep the airline afloat. He only appoints and employs EXPATRIATES and his Co-Religionists so he can control FIJI; a visiting Muslim Maulana dubbed him "Fiji's RAJA".

"That when the people of Fiji finally riot, they won't riot against the Fiji Military, but against all the Business Houses who have contributed millions to Bainimarama and Khaiyum as listed by the Supervisor of Elections, Saneem".
Professor Wadan Narsey, to ABC's Pacific Beat;
Big business houses like Tappoos, Punjas, Patels, could become targets like it happened in 2000

"Something is very wrong when Fiji is still spending $38-million a month on aircraft repayments but its main hospital is disintegrating. And no amount of spin will convince the public otherwise." Graham Davis

Professor Wadan Narsey to ABC's Pacific Beat:
* Fiji's womens' organisations are carrying the can by helping out with welfare assistance;
*FFP government has forced workers to dip into their own superannuation fund. 60,000  have exhausted their superannuation fund;
* GDP has collapsed by 20 per cent
*Covid has run riot in Fiji;
*Government listened to its business cronies and refused to lockdown, ignoring calls from health experts to lockdown Fiji;
*Increased public debt;
* No hope of tourism economy recovery;
*As a result there will be a squeeze on education and health
*Careless Government refusing to listen to Oppositions' proposals or working with them to combat the Delta virus;
*Increased public debt by 400 percent - debt up from $2m to $8m;
* Post pandemic - potential civil unrest, a real possibility;
* Military has tight control - top brass benefitted, especially Nailatikau and others ensconced in the belly of FFP;
* The Fijians have seen in the last year who have been donating to FFP - big business houses like Tappoos, Punjas, Patels, so these bsuiness houses could become targets like it happened in 2000
