In the next vein he orders the acting Head Teacher of Vunimono Sanatan Primary School to be suspended - she is questioned by MoE Ethics Unit and told to report to Nausori Office for further investigation; her crime, falsely accused of saying: 'Reddy is in his job for a short while only' - he throws massive tantrum and is baying for her dismissal!

These two should re-imburse half of the costs the graduate teachers have spent getting further education - its no tea drinking session, Reddy!
From Fijileaks yesterday: One Govind Padayachi, who was an election campaigner for Reddy appointed assistant principal of Suva Sangam High School. The post processing unit at the MOE hasn't decided on this post. Padayachi was seen campaigning for Reddy all over Fiji. A failed head of department at MGM High School who was transferred to A G High School after complaints by students and school management. After the election Reddy transferred Padayachi back to MGM. Now Padayachi starts as assistant principal of Suva Sangam School. Fijileaks reveals the complaint letter that was written against Govind Padayachi (see below):
Fijileaks Editor: Given the vindictive nature of Reddy, we have withheld the names of the student signatories. But look at the hypocrite, lecturing teachers not to spend time on social media while appointing Padayachi!
Fiji's Ministry of Education has called on school heads to monitor their teachers' input in the classroom after reports that teaching hours have been taken up on social media. Minister for Education Dr Mahendra Reddy says reports also have it that some some teachers walk into their classrooms for the sake of making the hours and getting paid instead of trying to make the student understand the subject matter. Dr Reddy said this was one of the contributing factors to poor quality of education in the country. Reddy told heads of schools at a recent Reforms Awareness Workshop that they need to supervise their teachers well and ensure teachers deliver and make their teaching “Output based” instead of “input based”.
