Even by those who are sworn to protect them: the Force which used once to take pride in upholding "Salus Populi Suprema est Lex" - the injunction of Cicero concerning the overriding necessity to defend the welfare of the people. What infamy dwells in this CARNAGE. Yes, President Donald Trump's own term applied to 2017 homicides in US City of Chicago.

Why is there an inconsistency in the reporting of the case where a former Police Officer has just been found guilty of three counts of rape in 2016 and also sexual assault? Fiji Village reports the age of the victim as 17 years. The Fiji Report by Aqela Susu reports the age as 14 years. This is a serious matter since the tariff for sentence has regard to the age differential between perpetrator and victim. Such sloppy attitude to court reporting is intolerable when rape is now an every day occurrence in Fiji. The fact that a former Police Officer and Servant of Law and Order would have a reference to the Archangel Michael on the body of his car should alert us all to the significance of this case. St Michael is Patron Saint of Police Forces all over the world. Police Officers have a special sworn Duty to Protect. Vigilance must be exercised by attendance in the court to witness the process when police officers abuse their positions of trust.
