What they forget is that if Indo-Fijians and moderate and progessive iTaukei Fijians had not joined hands in oppostion to Rabuka's 1987 coups, Indo-Fijians would have been raped, murdered, or deported out of Fiji. Rabuka's coup bordered on Genocide. Like Adolf Hitler, he wanted to turn Indo-Fijians into the new Jews in Fiji. What about the Seventh-day Adventists who attend church on Saturdays, which they believe to be the Sabbath instead of Sunday, according to their interpretation of the Bible. And, yet, Methodist drunks, dancers, and demagogues continue partying late into Saturday nights and into early Sunday mornings? Surely, the Seventh-day Adventists deserve rest, reverence, and reflection. It's not just that they worship on the Sabbath, they honour that day as a day of rest. We would not have reacted the way we have if she was not joined to Rabuka's political hip, for we are convinced that he is snakingly promoting his 1987 agenda. And she is trying to outflank NIKO NAWAIKULA. Our only SALVATION is in a new, truly multi-racial party, in 2022. We urge the likes of former Independent Candidate ROSHIKA DEO and others to take up our clarion call. FFP, SODELPA, FLP, NFP and even UNITY party can be beaten at the 2022 Election.
