Education Minister Mahendra Reddy had claimed that HIS pledges were aimed to assist students in understanding where they were heading in life. Now, Bainimarama has told him where to go - to hold it until further notice. Reddy's pledges [with our illustrations/T4F] has eight promises which the students were to say every morning
'I will respect, love and care for my parents, teachers, friends and elders.'

Fijileaks: Reddy should have used the taxpayers money for school rehab, instead of his Education Ministry printing and distributing 220,000 copies of the pledge to schools

"I will stay healthy through exercise and practice good hygiene."

'I will stay clean through good thoughts, works and deeds.'
'I will believe in myself through faith in God.'

'I will attend school daily, abide by all school rules and study hard.'

'I will say NO to drugs, stay away from bad habits and value my life.'

'I will use technology for good and not as a tool to hurt or harm others.'

'I am a proud Fijian and will make Fiji a nation of peace and progress.'

Reddy hopes his pledges will reduce absenteeism, bullying, disruptive [monkey] behaviour and even sexual activities

Good to see something has come up for students...they should say it at home with parents....first learning institution....teachers are there to see learning takes place in classroom not to make students say pledges .....wake up minister teachers already have too much to do.....already he has stolen their much deserved holiday....one week and they will be busy marking exam papers....moe n the government is not looking after their teachers well....there's no time to rest and relax their mind....should consult stakeholders before making hasty decisions....minister should not compare teachers work with other profession....kaiyum boot him out....vinaka

Remember - Reddy is the education monster. He is destroying the education system. But he is a much smaller chap than the satans Bai and Kai. Its Kai who has made Reddy the Monster, first by greasing him and letting him unleashed against other politicians in FFP and Opposition. Then he started undermining Reddy by his stupid policies like on QVS, etc, thus creating a Monster. Now Kai is laughing away for making Reddy climb the banana palm and then drilling the palm with numerous holes, to watch the Monster fall!

These 8 pledges are all fore brain stuff, concocted by a recycled academic with questionable morals and ethics. The former head of FNU Dr Ganesh Chand and a certain Suva taxi driver must be choking in their morning coffee in disbelief

Imagine a classroom scenario. Teacher asks 8 year old Mohan to recite pledge No. 2. Mohan thinks hard. He knows the answer but he can’t remember now. The teacher’s frown is becoming very frightening to little Mohan. Mohan bites his lips and scratches his rear. Mohan closes his eyes tight in concentration and says a silent pray to Lord Rama and then slowly, slowly Mohan recalls the Fijileaks’ (T4F) colorful cartoon illustration of pledge No.2 and then he quickly answers: “Yes Sir, it is Bainimarama ke Joolab hose-pipe, Sir.”

If you check Education Monster's twitter account, you will see how he is greasing kai by saying kai is 'master of his fate'.

He knows it's kai who can kick him out anytime. Actually Reddy has forgotten that everything has to be approved by his Master b4 they are introduced or else they will be delayed.

Come on Reddy, walk the talk - get blessed by your master b4 opening your mouth.

What about pledge on witch doctors and black magic? Everyone in Ministry HQ knows that Reddy is a great believer in black magic and witch doctors. He visits them regularly and says his survival despite Kattu wanting him out is because of the power of his witch doctors.. So pledge 9 to be: I shall have faith in witch doctors and black magic.

Aaaree reddy never practice what he preach. He did not respect his friend the taxi driver. Reddy broke this pledge when he seduced the taxi driver's wife: 'I will stay clean through good thoughts, works and deeds.'the thoughts in his mind about his taxi driver friends wife were far from clean! LoL.
