Dear Editor,

Nafisa is not an unknown. She was also awarded a scholarship by the government and spent some time in China which has yielded no returns to the Fijian economy.

Her family is well connected to certain government ministers as they live within walking range of a very prominent ministers home.

It comes as no surprise that she has been embroiled in such a scandal and is walking away from a mess without any repercussions. One can only wonder how she got Rouse to let her go so easily... the imagination is a devilish thing...

I am not surprised that no one has taken any action on Ian Rouse. Rouse is in same league as Tony Tarr. White skin means a lot to the Ministers, PM and Iqbal Janif. Janif should also be charged for aiding and abetting criminal act. My sources say that Janif is now also the Vice Chancellor, sitting in VC's office and making executive decisions. This is most comical.

I agree with Tomasi Koroi. What you mentioned is 100% correct. The current regime thinks that white skin and sri lankans are the saviours rest are ulu kaus. Iqbal Janif is indeed appointed himself as VC of FNU and is making excutive decisions. A man with no Phd qualification running the show and ruling the educated professors and academics. He like aiarse khaiyum might either be genius or another fool. The folleys will be seen soon.

The gora rouse too does not have the qualifications that he claims -
perhaps its now time that the Fijian authorities check his academic and other credentials he submitted with his work permit application and subsequent renewals.

Both Ganesh Chand and Ian Rouse have looted millions from FNU
funds and to date both men are roaming free despite FICAC having
all the evidence against both.

How was Iqbal Janif appointed to this high office if he does not have the required qualifications? What is Janif's qualification to run a university? Was he sent there by Mahendra Reddy to protect Ian Rouse? The plot is getting interesting. Does any one have the full story? Please tell us before end of this year. 3 in my immediate family will be making their choice of University for 2016.

Interesting point the gora too... Do a simple google search and see how many publications you find by ian rouse. One needs publications in top peer reviewed academic journals to become a professor. A professor normally would be a prolific researcher. Strangely, it's very hard to find a publication by ian rouse. Very fishy indeed!

Rouse was a dean in FSM. can he confirm how many good doctors he has made while he was a dean. Go to any Hospital, you will get evidence of what all he produced as a dean. recently there was a fake doctor being arrested and if you would have compared that Fake and the ones come out of FSM , it would make no difference as both would have prescribed the same thing. ONLY PANADOL.

so the fake doctor took advantage and in some case he may have given better prescription than those who came out of FSM.
Rouse and his trained doctors should be charged of so many murders they must have done to innocent patience's

Is it true that Rouse has been sacked from VC position and that Jannif is now VC? If so, why was Rouse sacked he came with a lot of fanfare and pomp. FNU staff who are known to me are afraid to talk about this. They even dont send emails saying emails are monitored. Looks like the regime culture of fear is now also caught up with FNU. Editor: can you not post my real name please. You can use a fake name like Raju or Kumar only.
