Pyar hi pyar hai! Victor who is the Romeo? Fnu staff behaving like love struck teenagers even though hair has gone white. No wonder the institution is quite screwed.

Editor,
We learn from the Canberra Times article ' Hundreds of government officials blow whistle on dodgy conduct' ( ct 9/01 ) that a total of 639 " public interest disclosures " were made last year about the conduct of public servants from the contravention of a Commonwealth law, perverting the course of justice, mal administration, abuse of public trust, waste of Commonwealth resources, conduct relating to health and safety risks and abuse of public office.
The Public Interest Disclosure Scheme enables public officials to raise suspected wrongdoing...
Such a legislated scheme protecting whistle blowers is indispensable for good democratic governance.
In the Fiji context in the prevailing political environment the disclosures of serious wrongdoing is exposed by Fijileaks and other alternative media blog sites.
Many such cases of wrongdoing by state bureaucrats and other public institution officials would never have seen the light of day had they not been exposed by these blog sites.
Sincerely,
Rajend Naidu
