CORRUPT BUDDIES: Dr Mahendra Reddy, the Dean of College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism Studies at the Fiji National University was appointed as chairman of the Commerce Commission in March 2009 by Aiyaz Khaiyum - eight months later Khaiyum secretly registered the FijiFirst domain name, and now Reddy is campaigning for the party without having resigned from the Commerce Commission and the FNU!

And while Katonivere, the Vice President for FijiFirst, appointed to the boards of TLTB and AFL, missed Macuata Provincial Council meeting in Labasa as priority was AFL board meeting, the Treasurer for FijiFirst is using email address of Tropik Wood on application for political party:

Mahendra Reddy is a regime lackey. He knows his own survival depends on the Bainimarama regime retaining its hold on power. That's why he is joining his party. He has acquired a good taste of the power and privileges that comes from being a lackey of the Dictatorship. He wants the good time to roll on - for him. He will get a sound hiding in the elections - if the election is not rigged.

Word is that Mahen Reddy will challenge his guru, former best friend and academic rival professor Biman Prasad of NFP.

Mahenwa has limited vision. He is only able to see what is in his vested interest. And, that is to stick with the mob in power.

Mahen Reddy should pay homage to his leader and guru Biman Prasad. He should give up the idea of running against Biman. Mahen doesn't have a chance in hell of beating Biman.
