GAZETTE PROOF! AIYAZ KHAIYUM AND FRANK BAINIMARAMA STOLE THE PARTY NAME FIJI FIRST PARTY FROM ORIGINAL PARTY OWNERS

14/5/2014

By VICTOR LAL
(1) And Bainimarama knew of the existence of the party and the name

Fiji First Party for he chaired the meeting of the political party leaders
on 9th April 2009 at the Police Academy, Nasova. Other participants included Aiyaz Khaiyum and representatives of the original Fiji First Party- Anit Singh and Beni Sami;

Mr Chairman [Bainimarama, 9 April 2009]:
'The meeting also agreed...' is there any changes that need to be made in this paragraph?
Mr Sami: "Mr Chairman, I would like to correct the name of 'Girmit Heritage Party,
change it to 'Fiji 1st Party'
Mr Chairman: Sorry which party?
Mr Sami: Fiji 1st Party
Mr Chairman: Not Girmit Heritage Party?
Mr Sami: No, we have just gone through our name change and registered with the Supervisor of Elections
Mr Chairman: Have you paid you[r] $10 for the change of name? (Laughter)
Mr Sami: First is '1st'

(2) Only lately Khaiyum, the general secretary of the proposed Fiji First Party, while refusing to resign as Election Minister, claimed that he searched through the Government gazettes and found that Sitiveni Rabuka was the Minister responsible for Elections in 1999 while Laisenia Qarase was the Minister responsible for Elections in 2001 and 2006. "This is listed under their responsibilities in the gazettes.";
(3) And yet Khaiyum made no effort or if he did, he is hiding the fact that the original Fiji First Party's name was gazetted on 12 December 2008. Moreover, he was also present at the Navosa meeting along with Viliame Naupoto, now an aspiring candidate for the proposed FFP. Khaiyum's  self denial is understandable - for HE is the one who secretly registered his "own" proposed Fiji First Party domain name and g-mail account on 11 November 2009 and updated it on 21 January 2014 to fight the September general election:
(4) When Khaiyum registered his "own" Fiji First Party domain name and e-mail account Fiji was under his
State of Public Emergency Regulations and no political acitivities of any kind or manner was allowed to any law-abiding citizens of Fiji. BUT KHAIYUM PUT HIMSELF ABOVE HIS OWN LAW on 11 November 2009 - We say RESIGN NOW and subject yourself to fine and two years imprisonment under your own PER which came into force at 1200 hours on 10 April 2009; the previous day, 9 April, Bainimarama knew of original Fiji First Party! That same day the Fiji Court of Appeal had declared the Bainimarama-Khaiyum government illegal in Qarase v Bainimarama case, resulting in the introduction of Khaiyum's PER!

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY THEFT: Fiji's Attorney-General, Minister for Elections and now general secretary of the proposed Fiji First Party allegedly was NOT aware of the existence of a party with the same name, and that it was even gazetted in the regime's own Government gazette in December 2008

The OBJECTOR:
Why is Chaudhry not coming forward to confirm original FFP's existence?

FLP leader Mahendra Chaudhry had allegedly objected to the original Fiji First claiming that the signatures were not genuine. The Supervisor of Elections staff and Anit Singh had to go to each signatory and verify that they were real. The objection was thrown out.

Resign from FIJI FIRST - AIAZ Khaiyum
14/5/2014 07:26:10 pm

The Vice President of the proposed FijiFirst, Bijai Prasad has stepped down from the position reportedly saying "proposed FijiFirst leader, Voreqe Bainimarama has insisted on the highest standard of personal conduct and Prasad’s non disclosure has fallen short of those standards. He believes that the proposed FijiFirst is bigger than him and bigger than anyone one else as individuals."

Proposed FijiFirst General Secretary, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said Prasad understands the level of disclosure and the proposed FijiFirst has started a particular level of professionalism.

Aiyaz, YOU stole the name Fiji First althougfh you knew it existed. YOU did not disclose to Bainimarama that you breached emergency decree to steal (First) Fiji First Party name which carries 2 years jail.

Or are YOU bigger than Prasad and bigger than Fiji First as YOU are Proposed Fiji First!!!

You are confused - Aiyaz is not a member of and is NOT welcomed in Fiji First Party - Fiji First Party is not a Party of CHORS!

Chor (hyphen) Aiyaz's party is called PROPOSED Fiji First Party (which basically means "Wannabe" Fiji First Party).

Remember He STOLE (like petty a thief -yes a gutless CHOR and BUTAKO) the Fiji First Party name during the currency of his PER which basically gagged the whole country.

But welcome to DEMOCRACY -Khaiyum or would you rather have your elections under your ^%$%$#%$# PER.

Congratulations! Yet again, Victor Lal - for another good story and exposure! We thought that the first Fiji First Party was just hot-air –but know we know the facts.

How can anyone (let alone a PM) chair a political party’s’ meeting and not care to know its participants – especially one with as good a name as ‘Fiji First’ –but that shows the arrogance of this man.

Hope that the Fiji First Party is continuing to put up a challenge at the Supervisor of Elections office – we are looking forward to the outcome. By the way, the blue bus is nowhere to be seen nowadays – what happened?

All political parties have some scoundrels. The Bainimarama party is made up of scoundrels. These scoundrels stole the Government of Fiji and fraudulently imposed themselves as Prime Minister and Ministers .
There is nothing surprising about them stealing the Fiji First party name. Stealing is what they do and have been doing since their takeover. They are after all Fiji's first thug rulers. Let us not forget that!

An old Japanese saying comes to mind: “neko no kubi ni suzu o tsukeru” which literally means ‘putting a bell around a cat’s neck’.

The reason this saying comes to mind is because who is now going to tell this ‘thick-head’ Bainimarama about the intricacies of what entails an intellectual property theft?

Man Victor, Awesome story! Intriguing, exciting, suspense - So whats gonna happen now? Is the (first) Fiji First fallas having the balls to go lodge a complaint to reject Baini getting the name or what? This big Chorowa, Bainimarama will now have to paint his bus RED and reregister his ‘Fiji Theft Party’ - all over again – whilst singing ‘the wheels of the bus go round and round, round and round….’ What a joke!

It is quite possible that all of the 40,000 signatures were meant for the (First) Fiji First Party and none for the Chorowa Bainimarama's Fiji Theft Party! Each of the signatories will now need to be verified like Fiji First Party had to do when MPC objected to them. No one in their right head will now want to join a party of thugs.

He is asking Bainimarama to tell how much in salary the dictator has been paying himself since 2010?

Why 2010? For he was with him until he was kicked out as Finance Minister, so no wonder he is asking his former treasonists partners to account from after 2010 after he had left Cabinet

Slimely crook of a man.

Anyway, those millions were also for those who signatures he was questioning?

Sir, I no longer am comfortable to join Fiji First as a candidate in the elections due to personal reasons.

My wife is sick and I will be going to take her for some treatment overseas so am no longer available in the next 6 months.

BUT to tell you the truth, this is just an excuse reason for records.

TRUE reason is that I do not want to taint my name as becoming a member of the party knowingly that Aiyaz has actually stolen it during the period of State of Emergency.

I am religous person and am afraid to steal from poor and in this case the political party name of the poor victims. My family will pay for this over next 7 generations, like the villagers who ate Father Thomas Baker as they are still strugling while rest of Fiji moved ahead.

DUE to Aiyaz's thieving of Fiji First, now we see the gazette advertisement, so it also means that the 40,000 members signatures gathered were misrepresented by proposed party.

Alternatively it becomes criminal on my part to send my boys to gather signatures without informing those signing that actually this was part of the grand thieving of Fiji First and they were part of that team of thieves.

I already spent lots of money to pay my helpers to get signatures. Now if I have to go back as I did not tell the members before signing that there is a jail term and huge fine for misrepresention. This time they cannot sign as they already signed for one Fiji First. I will have to get another lot of new members which is too late for me to start my campaign, hence I quit.

But Sir, I will continue to support your party.

That small Snippet of exchange between Sami and Vayeshnoi (above) is so interesting. We wonder what transpired there, FijiLeaks?? But surely people like Vayeshnoi and Chaudhry are in no position to question other people’s credibility. Small parties like Sami’s Fiji First party make democracy more vibrant and he does make a good point. Best wishes for your Fiji First party – Sami.

Also with what credibility is Aiyaz and Bainimarama going to go ahead with a stolen party name. The sad thing is we had so much hope in Bainimarama.

We all had hope -high hopes on Bainimarama., He was essentially a good man with a much needed 'clean-up' campaign. Some of us risked a lot to support him, even with our jobs and reputation. But he turned out to be the most ungrateful *#@#$&&^.

But it was the likes of Khaiyum and Chaudhry who corrupted him through and through. Simply because Bainimarama could not think for himself. There are many instances of corruption -the laughable 30 yrs leave pay, an alleged house for bribe, nepotism, thousand sands, the China Rail and the Chinese Prostitutes.

But this sad Fiji First name chori story is (hopefully) the last nail on his political coffin -because this time he stole from the very POOR -like Chaudhary did - so he is just like Chaudhary.

He didn't have to do that - Bad advice (again can't THINK for himself) and Bad karma.

Names are important –I have a beautiful name. Nelson Mandela would never have given up ANC and Gandhi -Congress. Can you imagine ‘GreenPeace’ being called ‘Redpeace’ ? No, because names become your branding – your particular and specific style. Your identity – really!

Being interested, I took time to read the (first) Fiji First Party submissions to the President (1/1/13, FijiLeaks). A recommended read!

I can now see why the (first) Fiji First Party should be so furious about anyone stealing their name. The submissions to the President of –Fiji First Party – is so much part and parcel of what their beliefs are. It is their philosophy, their specific branding and their very own Intellectual Property. It just cannot belong to anyone else. Those beliefs cannot belong to a Dictator or those of the ‘thuggish’ style. I have located two other submissions of Fiji First Party to the constitution commissioner but am yet to read those.

The (first) Fiji First party must register your protests. There are many options which I am privately emailing on your address. There are many avenues in Fiji and internationally to protect IP rights and also pro-bono legal assistance and advice on IP issues. I did not know of you (Fiji First Party) before but I do now and I support you!

Do you think FJI LABOUR PARTY leader Mahen Chaudhry will write to the President and to the Elections office outlining his strong objection to Proposed Fiji First Party.

The strong saviour of democracy .... we think if he thought the 180 member names were misrepresented, than as a Leader of the largest registered political party in Fiji - who had been given mandate to represent the people....

...will lodge his complaint against Aiyaz, Bainimarama and the 40,000 signatories alleging they all breached the decree 4/11.

Mr Chaudhry you do not need to support (First) Fiji First, but as a Great Leader of teh People, by the people and for the people... you will show us by your challenge to your opposition who is taking away your FLP votes.

Yes, our original Fiji First is the party of choice; it is a party founded on human rights violations in Muaniweni by George Speight and his racist pricks. The party is a symbol of resistance to oppression and exploitation- unlike the other political parties in Fiji. No wonder Aiyaz wanted to steal the name. He was told by Felicity Heffernan to get the legal process underway to register it but sat on his fat backside deliberately and did not. For a reason- to steal the name, since that boy is not smart enough to find a unique party name for himself. Bainimarama, yet again you lose face in the populace because of Aiyaz. Nazhat ran away because she realised who was really behind Fiji First. There is a cryptic crossword message in the list of Fiji First signatories apart from Beni Sami and the Muaniweni folks. Find it and you will know the answer. This battle is not going away. Bainimarama and Aiyaz have met their match.

If constitutional appointees had done her job properly other than favouring anything Chaudhry did to be godly... then we may not have seen this dooms day.

This is one reason why properly qualified people should always run all the constitutional offices with full accountability then to be blide sided to only favour who appointed them.

None of these constitutional offices sent ANY draft to the Peoples Charter on discipline procedure for their own offices, nor did they submit one to SDL Govt for making it into law.

But they pretended to be dumb when Chaudhry commenced pressure to illegally amend the constitution without having any merits in it, let alone any lawful means to do so.

It took three unpaid individuals to put their head out to form FIJI FIRST PARTY and register their opposition and point out Peoples Charter to be rogue.

Elections in the air in Fiji. Here's a letter by Bill Young in the smh 16/5 which can help voters in Fiji to cast their votes "appropriately".
"It has now become clearly undeniable that our Prime Minister lied his way into The Lodge... Strong language,I know, but I don't wish to sugar-coat a word the dictionary defines as " an intentionally false statement". No matter which way he spins it or plays with the semantics of language, it is now clear the Prime Minister never had any intention of honouring a significant number of solemn commitments he made before the election.
The important thing to remember is that the term of this government can last only a maximum of three years. The important task for the electorate is to remember this deceit right up to election day ... and cast its vote appropriately..."

YES... Chaudhry should oppose Frank and Aiyaz as he has done since being dumped in 2008.

Chaudhry slept with Rabuka, then was ready to walk with interim govt of LQ but wasn't invited. Then he was wanting to sleep with CAMV but all these leaders dumped him.

Chaudhry then went to sleep with Bainimarama; then after getting dumped went on to sleep with Qarase claiming to have reconciled their differences so they are now ready to have elections.

Then Chaudhry became a senior member of grand coalition for democracy....calling for Bai/Aiaz to demostrate accounatablity and transparency.

BUT he STILL has NOT said a single word about Bainimarama / Aiaz's breach of decrees to obtain name of Fiji 1st Party.

" I don't get upset when politicians lie, simply because I don't expect them to do anything else...
I don't even get upset when they tell huge lies to corruptly conceal their crimes: after all, in our new "age of entitlement" it seems that lying is totally acceptable, provided you don't get caught or, if you do, just keep lying until it goes away or claim that you're being victimised. Paraphrasing a once famous and long dead politician, the bigger the lie,the easier it seems that we will accept it...
What really upsets me - and what I cannot and will not accept - is any politician who wants to take me for a fool. So when a politician lies to me and then pretends that I must have misunderstood or misheard, and that he or she didn't make the promise, I get really angry. And, everyone knows what happens when we finally get really, really angry"- John Richardson (Letters Canberra Times 17/5).
It is time we - the people of Fiji - also get really, really angry for being taken for a fool by our politicians - both old and brand new ones (the un-elected variety who have been lying to us for nearly 8 years now to cling to power by hook and crook.

US scientists 'hack' India electronic voting machinesBy Julian Siddle

Quick guide: Indian election

Scientists at a US university say they have developed a technique to hack into Indian electronic voting machines.

After connecting a home-made device to a machine, University of Michigan researchers were able to change results by sending text messages from a mobile.

Indian election officials say their machines are foolproof, and that it would be very difficult even to get hold of a machine to tamper with it.

India uses about 1.4m electronic voting machines in each general election.

'Dishonest totals'

A video posted on the internet by the researchers at the University of Michigan purportedly shows them connecting a home-made electronic device to one of the voting machines used in India.

Professor J Alex Halderman, who led the project, said the device allowed them to change the results on the machine by sending it messages from a mobile phone.

"We made an imitation display board that looks almost exactly like the real display in the machines," he told the BBC. "But underneath some of the components of the board, we hide a microprocessor and a Bluetooth radio."

"Our lookalike display board intercepts the vote totals that the machine is trying to display and replaces them with dishonest totals - basically whatever the bad guy wants to show up at the end of the election."

In addition, they added a small microprocessor which they say can change the votes stored in the machine between the election and the vote-counting session.

India's electronic voting machines are considered to be among the most tamperproof in the world.

There is no software to manipulate - records of candidates and votes cast are stored on purpose-built computer chips.

Paper and wax seals

India's Deputy Election Commissioner, Alok Shukla, said even getting hold of machines to tamper with would be very difficult.

"It is not just the machine, but the overall administrative safeguards which we use that make it absolutely impossible for anybody to open the machine," he told the BBC.

"Before the elections take place, the machine is set in the presence of the candidates and their representatives. These people are allowed to put their seal on the machine, and nobody can open the machine without breaking the seals."

The researchers said the paper and wax seals could be easily faked.

However, for their system to have any impact they would need to install their microchips on many voting machines, no easy task when 1,368,430 were used in the last general election in 2009.

The Electronic Voter System.

The Regime has proposed the introduction and use of Electronic Voting System (EVS) in 2014 elections. Recently (2010), in Ireland EVS machines worth tens of millions of Euros were bought but never used precisely ‘because there was no possible way to know that these machines calculate the results correctly’ [http://www: evoting.cs.may.ie.].

The people of Fiji need to be assured that any introduced system meets the certified international standards criteria and those electoral processes and systems are as transparent as crystal and observed by neutral international parties. There should be zero chance of the present regime rigging the elections.
