Australian and New Zealand military might and reach shortly after Cyclone Winston reinforces the argument that if these countries were serious about upholding DEMOCRACY in Fiji, they could have intervened militarily to cart off treasonists and coupsters to an off-shore island - Cyclone Winston provided a TRIAL RUN, and was very successful

Fiji Leaks these days where the military apparatus has access to the best know how and hard and soft war fighting technologies available to man regime change through military intervention is rarely used. Look at the Middle East where the western powers effect regime change through proxies such as Daesh or ISIS. The simple fact is anyone who threatens the interests of US and its allies will be targeted but with a response commensurate with the threat, Bainimarama, Khaiyum and Kubuabola's flirtations with Iran and Russia required a response, and it came in the form of Cyclone Winston which was man made through micro waves beamed into the ionasphere from transmitters located in Alaska, Northern Japan and Pine Gap. The US military has been manipulating extreme weather for strategic reasons for decades. Check out the internet. Without a shot being fired military assets of the western allies are already deployed in Fiji helping in the humanitarian response effort and our PM, Khaiyum and Kubuabola are on thier Knees begging for help from the West who not so long ago they were thumbing their nose at. It is a misnomer to say that Fiji is stronger than Winston. Fiji is only as strong as the US and the western powers allow it to be. Full stop

The Fiji First Theft Party is responsible for a man made disaster of a different kind : the Rape of Democracy in Fiji.

Vili, you obviously don't believe in Kharma nor do you read the Christian bible and the Qoran for all these believes preach that what u sow so shall u reap. All the anguish caused by the FFP does not disappear into thin air, Prayers are answered by friend and the good Lord works in strange ways, even through man-made interventions

Body Language and Bail outs : the folded arms and the pointed fingers send the messages. No more is required. Little respect will be accorded to anyone because there is no inherent sense of dignity or self worth. This is how we came to such an unwholesome pass. Now we must be taught how to prioritize the needs of infants and women of child-bearing age to provide consistence and coherence in distribution. In the past ten years many have been abused, raped and deliberately targeted with violence. A Japanese female petitioner in Labasa was knocked to the ground while seeking help from the Divisional Commissioner in 2011. A woman in her fifties. This is the fearful climate that was created by men who should have had the capacity to know better. They conspicuously failed and it is therefore no surprise that violence and violation of human rights continue. Maika Bolatiki is just one among the many who have been found failing their Duty to Protect. The protection afforded by Editors and reporters who were routinely and specifically asked to investigate such incidents but desisted is a national scandal awaiting redress.

This has to be the ultimate 'con-job' of the Fiji First Party regime that is totally disgusting and dishonest!! Countries, businesses, individuals, citizens and groups have poured in relief funds into Fiji so why the frig is this AG-goon Khaiyum travelling overseas to seek more money when Fiji is currently flooded with hard cash? I believe the cyclone has just given this Govt. the perfect opportunity to balance the books, hide its financial deficiencies, make up for unexplained spending and stash more into personal accounts. You see, there has never been any accountability on how this Govt. has spent national funds nor revealed how much salary each Minister gets nor where the money has gone to and the abuse of public funds as highlighted in the Auditor General's reports since 2006. Is there no shame at all amongst these thieves that they can continuously stoop so low to ask for more when Fiji is currently flooded with relief aid from so many entities and countries???%$#@

No there is no shame among this gang in government who came to power through armed robbery. They have demonstrated time and again with their lies and deceit that they are a shameless greedy lot who would do anything to cling to power and to enjoy the goodies that come with it. What Khaiyum is doing is typical of this mob.

Bainimarama lapdog Tukai lagonilakeba writes to the Fiji Times 26 March to say " I must congratulate our PM for his call to boldly ask our international families, corporations and NGOs" to assist in getting the country back on its feet.
