In a dictatorship the dictator and his crony ministers have the right to know whatever they want to know. Crony minister Dr Reddy is exercising that right. By contrast the ordinary citizens have no right to know anything about what their rulers are doing, whether that be with regard to the giving away of public park land to their unscrupulous business mates or allowing dodgy foreign doomsday church gang to ply their trade here or what Aunty Nur was paid for doing whatever her nephew Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum the Minister for Many Things got her to do for the Fiji First Theft Party government.

Fijileaks administrator, you gotta be ashamed for dragging ministers daughter into this. Dont the pictures tell there is a scene of achievement.

You have spewed enough bile of your guts on the minister who is simply trying to do his job. Get over, Dr Reddy is here to stay and as the minister, accept it.

Pacific Flying School's decision is correct Bhairo.Flight training consists of a combination of flight lessons given in the aircraft or simulator and ground school where theory is learned in preparation for written examinations.The flight lecturers have the last say.Just imagine when a incompetent Pilot takes up the plane and loses its control,that person does not only risk the his/her own life,but its passengers as well.Without precision control ,ability to make clear decisions and quick response the people on the ground are totally unsafe.Flying Schools are not like driving Schools.The pilot needs to be fully confident.....Dr Reddy needs to know that better and he should keep his hands out.It is a matter lo life and death.I do not know about you,but I will not want to be in the air with a failed Pilot,and you Bhairo need to understand the difference between Driving and Flying.In Driving you have a chance,while flying you do not have that.Dr. reddy should be proud of the Flying School where his daughter went to and stop trying to throw around his weight.The School knows it better.Not Dr.Reddy.

Fijileaks is definately changed. Again you are publishing lies about Dr. Reddy. Where is the letter or doc that shows he is pushing his weight around? There is none obviously. Its not easy getting in flying school and his daughter is a smart girl. His daughter deserved to go into flying school and from the pics she is excelling in it. Why stoop so low as dragging his daughter? What has she done to you?? Play fair and be a man. Not a maniac attacking women and children. Please do the right thing and remove this post.

This is gutter level reporting at its worst. Dragging the minister's daughter into this dirty politics and portraying her as a failure publicly is a despicable act. Fijileaks should be ashamed. Shows that if the guys behind fijileaks were to become government, they'd be no less unscrupulous and unethical as Prime Minister Khaiyum.

There is nothing gutter about this story.

What is gutter is Reddy, using his Ministerial power and with the backing of the military, had barged into the Pacific Flying School demanding to know why his daughter was not being allowed to fly more hours after the first one - where she is celebrating happily.

The School, and rightly so, told him that she had failed her theory and on the basis of the result they were not going to allow her to take more flying classes

Reddy had no bloody right to barge into the flying school - but telling that to the new "Dictator" and his blind followers is a hard act.

Fiji is a very small place and every dictatorial move of his is observed and reported - do you really thing the Fiji media would have reported this bully's antics

He got a flying "kick" from the school - and rightly so - sadly, he dragged his poor daughter into public light with his behaviour.

One wonders if he had pushed her into the flying career?

Just to clear all doubts..Shivani Reddy has completed her first solo and one of the 6units. Shes not on hold from flying,so whatever bullshit you've been saying about our student.please stop!!!

It seems that the Hon. Minister was only emphasizing the fact that his daughter didn’t exactly pass 100% and at the same time didn’t exactly fail 100% - like the sad fate of hundreds of class six students and their parents who are still bewildered with the results of the Intermediate Exams.

Uppar walla saab dekho, Minister Reddy.

My prayers are only with the passengers who will fly with this neither passed nor failed pilot. Bon Voyage!
