Jannif acted as dual chair for USP and FNU for some years. Last year he relinquished FNU chairmanship. Now, he has been re-appointed chair of FNU. Did Mahendra Reddy appoint him to cover up for Jannif's bad leadership of past years? Lately Jannif was seen in Ganesh Chand's company, having kava with other academics in Suva. Both universities under Jannif's chairmanship under scrutiny. USP is reportedly broke and FNU under FICAC investigation, with Fijileaks to reveal more on

Someone must question janif's appointment. According to the FNU Decree its the Minister of Education who is the chair of the FNU Council. There is no provision in the Decree which gives mahen kama sutra reddy the power delegate this role to janif or anyone for that matter.

As if there are no qualified and suitable individuals to take up chairmanship of FNU. What is the qualification of Igbal Janif anyway? He has failed on the same job. Is this a move of ganesh chand working through incompetent reddy?.And the brainless reddy had shown he cannot make any decision without ganesh chand's advice. Look at the unwaranted half a million payout when FICAC report was already done in 2012.

Jannif was unlawfully appointed chair of USP council. Only to support all unlawful moves of Rajesh. He is 'hands in glove' with the regime. A photographer by profession he believes that clicks show reality. That is far from reality. He is back at FNU council. Expect him to support further dismantling of the institution like he has done at USP.
