HEALTH Minister Rosy Akbar has put to rest the 'jingle nurses' case

At this morning's visit of the Labasa Hospital, Ms Akbar told staff that the incident had served as a good reminder for medical personnel to know the importance of maintaining professional attitude at all times.

The incident involved nurses of Labasa Hospital singing a Christmas Jingle during a party in the festive season that copped criticisms from members of the public. Source: The Fiji Times

Good to see that common sense has prevailed. If only the same level of scrutiny is applied to govt officials, Fiji would be the ideal place to live. I live to dream another day.

So letting them off is good sense......they are sucking on taxpayer blood from the time they enter to study nursing and have the nerve to label the same people smelly. They should smell their own ass and make a jinggle bell song about it.

Wonderful to hear, lessons learnt no doubt.

Meanwhile, Fiji Times have just reported that Sawari was deported this morning back to PNG! Oh dear, the poor lad, couldn't Fiji have made an exception for Sawari and then tighten security of our borders? Safari is not their political football to be kicked around at will.

I hope he doesn't try to take his life going back to that jungle because his blood will be on Aust, PNG and now, Fiji. Also on the USA, since grumpy Trump has just given the Aust PM Turnbull an earful over the deal to resettle in the U.S. all the Manus Is and Nauru refugees, and then slammed the phone in his ear. Such arrogance!
