"The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Fiji is appalled with the desecration of Lord Shri Hanuman’s murti (statue) by a Pastor allegedly on the instructions of a family in Lauwaki settlement, Lautoka. The sacrilegious act by the Pastor, which was captured on video that went viral, reeks of racial and religious intolerance. His actions have gravely insulted and hurt the religious sentiments of thousands of Hindus in the country. This POLITICAL SNAKE has no problem rubbing shoulders with COUPIST SITIVENI RABUKA and is quitely and secretly, maybe, planning to sneek into Rabuka's sulu in 2022, disregarding the fact that after the 1987 Rabuka Coups, HINDUS, MUSLIMS, SIKHS and other non-Christians were subjected to the most brutal restriction on their faiths through Rabuka's SUNDAY OBSERVANCE DECREE that lasted from 1987 to 1995. The Decree made even Christians poorer and many are today still living in poverty. Worst, even Indo-Fijian Christians of all denominations were disenfranchised in the 1990 RACIST CONSTITUTION, simply because they were INDO-FIJIANS. PRASAD, like JAI RAM REDDY before him, doesn't accept that there was, and still is, an ALTERNATIVE TO APPEASEMENT re Fiji's Adolf Hitler - Sitiveni Rabuka. The political snake is trailing in opinion poll (if we are to believe the Fiji Sun) because he refuses to break free from Rabuka's grip and take the NFP's fight to FFP, People's Alliance, SODELPA, UNITY, FLP and other mini-me parties. That is why we, who supported him since 2014, are now calling for him to be Kicked OUT as NFP LEADER. Our Founding Editor-in-Chief has been a friend of the 'Learned Professor' for over three decades. One has to ask WHY Indo-Fijians are converting to Chrisitanity?
The family had every right to dispose of the Hanuman deity (in whatever form), for it was their private property, and had been installed in their private compound, as insensitive as it might be to HINDUS and their traitorous political leaders. Some of our Founding Editor-in-Chief's family members who in recent years had embraced either Hinduism or Christianity or even Islam had got rid of their previous religious posessions in whatever form they chose fit to do so. The Pastor RAJESH GOUNDAR has seen the LIGHT and has apologised for his stupidity. We don't think he had any malicious intent when he embarked to convert the family. So, let the newly converts enjoy the fruits of CHRISTIANITY, if there are any left since the 1987 coups, for most according to the latest HIES REPORT, are living in poverty.
