Now, responding to the objection that Bijai Prasad who was convicted of larceny and sentenced to prison in 1983, Khaiyum told his lap dog Saneem that Prasad has withdrawn his name from the proposed
Vice President’s name which means that this is now a non-issue.

He did not withdraw, he was exposed on 6 May; just imagine if Fijileaks and other pro-democracy blogs had not sprung up to hold the dictatorship to account; Prasad went to Tappoos coffee shop in Nadi before 10am on Thursday. A body guard of Khaiyum went inside to give him his resignation letter. Prasad signed the letter and waited for Khaiyum who arrived 20 minutes later and Prasad gave it to him.

Fijileaks Editor: Khaiyum should have called upon Saneem to prosecute Bijai Prasad for violating his (Khaiyum's) Political Parties Decree; of course, he did not, for he was accessory to furnishing the false particulars as general secretary of the proposed Fiji First Party

Khaiyum also dismissed Beddoes objections saying HE (Khaiyum) regards this as a desperate attempt by Beddoes to conjure objections in the hope that the application is not granted. The proposed FijiFirst also stated that they had received no official communication from Police or Media Industry Development Authority

Elections Supervisor is so rogue puppet of Aiyaz that he accepted that Bijaui Prasda's conviction under the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1997 allows Supervisor of elections to step out of Political Party Registration decree to accept false declaration that him not declaring his crime in the registration form was factually legal in law under the decree.

Since when non or false declaration to mean he needs protection and to otherwise mean discrimination?

If his false declaration was irrelevant conviction, then should Bijai Prasad not be reinstated back to his vice president's position?

Why Aiyaz is discxriminating him from having him resign from the post. Afterall under the Rehab Act, Bijai is very innocent!!

Look at the question - its plain as Khaiyum's robbery of the name - it says HAVE YOU EVER BEEN CONVICTED OF AN OFFENCE - there is no mention of the last 10 years - which would have excluded some under the Rehabilitation Offenders Act

But as we know, his decree was not meant for the likes of his Vice-President Bijai Prasad!

Just do up a decree and take the position of Commander Khaiyum. Afterall you have increased their pay to $220k each so they can listen to you and protect you.

Throw in another $100k each and see how RFMF lift you up into President's Office.

Khaiyum is thug ruler in chief . The criminal mind behind the decrees designed to emasculate the democratic opposition in the country. He is the one calling the shots. He is the one who plants his men in strategic positions - like this puppet Elections Supervisor - to make sure everything is set for them to hold onto power.
That is the name of the game Khaiyum and his cronies are playing. A "free and fair " elections to return the country to democracy is just a show - mostly for the benefit of the international community so that they can continue to give them funding for all sorts of things, including the upcoming elections.

it should by now be absolutely crystal clear to everybody that Aiyaz Khaiyum is a con man in the garb of the country's foremost law man.
he is the con artist who is manipulating everything to suit his agenda which is to cling to power with Bainimarama and his military thugs as his prop.
