When daughter's GPA was not even near 4.0. In order to get into FSM there is a cut off mark, e.g. MBBS and Dental will only accept students with a foundation GPA of 4.0+ and a Form 7 result of 350+. There are students who are getting places who don't meet the cut off mark when their GPA is below the cut off mark. But those students with higher marks are not getting the places. And in their effort to hide their corruption, FNU is avoiding giving anything in writing - driving deserving students CRAZY!

“Unlimited Tamaashaa” - The rot continues as Ian Rouse has resigned and left, with Kafoa at large - one of many post-coup UNTOUCHABLES - and its no laughing matter!

And Education Minister struts around with Bainimarama with IMPUNITY! Grog-bowl rumours of his resignation seems to be UNTRUE:

Editor,
Corruption in High Places
Where there is unfettered power there is big time corruption. The two go hand in hand.
The FNU example you provide is an important but a relatively small one.
Here's a truly mind blowing one.
We learn from BBC 26/01 that Adam Szubin, who oversees US Treasury sanctions, told BBC Panorama that the US government had known Russian President Vladimir Putin was corrupt for " many, many years ".
In the programme Mr Szubin spoke of how " we've seen Mr Putin enriching his friends, his close allies, and marginalising those he doesn't view as friends using state assets", whether it covered Russia's energy or state contracts. " To me, that is a picture of corruption ", he said.
Mr Szubin would not comment on a secret CIA report from 2007 that estimated President Putin's wealth at around $40 bn. But he said the Russian President had been AMASSING SECRET WEALTH. " He supposedly draws a state salary of something like $ 110,000 a year. That is not an accurate statement of the man's wealth, and he has long time training and practices in terms of how to hide his actual wealth.
In 2008 President Putin personally addressed claims he was the richest man in Europe saying " it's simply rubbish.. "
But is it?
You would almost feel sorry for the guy if he was on only a $110,000 salary. Permanent secretaries in a banana republic collect more!
We have seen time and again where one has unfettered power one tends to amass wealth the like of which Putin is accused of. Putin has had that kind of power for a long time in Russia. Even tinpot dictators in third world banana republics amass an obscene amount of wealth during their reign in power.
I am not at all surprised by this official US government claim regarding Putin's wealth accumulation.
Power corrupts.
Sincerely,
Rajend Naidu

This is not a new development as it has been happening for years. Children of rich and elite get admission to medical, law and other top schools. Discrimination, racism and nepotism is also rife at TSLB. Children with top marks are not given toppers scholarships and are forced to take loan instead. These are some of Fijis top students who are considered our future. Manager Operations is a racists pig. TSLB is another psc scholarship unit in the making. Corrupt and racists to the core.
