ISRAELI FLAG WILL NOT FLY OVER FIJI: Israeli PM Netanyahu will not visit Fiji nor will he participate in summit of leaders of Pacific Island states; his trip cancelled from a security point of view - Jerusalem Post

Israeli journalists inform Fijileaks that Israel is punishing Fiji in retaliation for Fiji's Peter Thomson, the UN General Assembly president, wearing a Palestinian flag scarf. The recent ammunition haul and arrests of certain individuals in Lautoka makes trip "unsafe from security point of view", say Israeli journalists and sources in Israeli Foreign Ministry; Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will still visit Australia and Singapore

"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday announced an upcoming trip to the Republic of Fiji, which he explained as part of an ongoing bid to bolster Israel’s standing in international forums such as the United Nations. “Why am I going to Fiji? Because fifteen countries, fifteen islands that each one has a vote in the UN are coming to that meeting,” Netanyahu said, without elaborating. Addressing American Jewish leaders via video conference, Netanyahu indicated that his trip to the tiny island nation — which has some 910,000 inhabitants, slightly more than Jerusalem — will take place in the framework of his planned visit to Singapore and Australia in February." - 15 November 2016; the following month, in December, Palestinian flag scarf wearing Thomson was accused of bias against Israel, with Netanyahu stating:
"Can the bias hypocrisy against Israel get any more obvious"

Thats a good decision from the Isreli Government based on their overall security assessment because Fiji is a Pro-Palestinian state in a way that Muslims are curring this country and providing daily advise to PM Bainimarama. Peharps muslims are already here with the assistance of Khaiyum, etc

The security by Fiji at the boarder control is very weak and they cannot even detect arms and ammunitions coming in lately...so its beter for the Isreil PM not to come to Fiji and instead visit Australia and Singapore where he will be safe and secure.

The decision by Israeli PM Netanyahu is logical, reasonable and welcome. It is a principled stand that must be understood by the Voreqe and Thomson. The two men are supposed to represent Fiji. But unfortunately, they do not. They hold positions, but lack our principles and values. We support Israel and the values and principles of democracy.

What about some very legitimate rights and grievances of the Palestinian People Tomasi ? Many of whom have been there since Moses's time, at least. No, the Israeli government is a bad arse oppressor - as bad arse as Bainimarama -for sure.
