Madigan fines another Chaudhry linked lawyer Amrit Sen $5000 for shouting on top of his voice in court; the Chaudhrys had claimed that former DPP prosecutor Wasu Pillay had given them, in Labasa, at the home of Uday Singh - clerk of Amrit Sen, Madigan's detailed involvement in the tax case charges
Northern lawyer Amrit Sen has been fined $5000 by the Independent Legal Services Commission over unprofessional conduct. This is after he was found to have raised his voice to an unacceptable level and had attacked the reputation of the prosecutor in the presence of the magistrate on April 12, 2011 while appearing before the Savusavu Magistrates Court. Sen was found guilty of one charge of unsatisfactory professional conduct after he failed to act with due courtesy to the Court.
