That is the way of the Dictator. The rules of accountable, honest leadership does not apply to him. He gives himself the licence to whatever he wants to do and nobody must criticise or question him for doing what he does. Atleast the FijiLeaks keeps the people informed of what this thug ruler is doing.

I thought bai had done his campaign in Kadavu. And yet he is back there pronto right into the footsteps of SODELPA which had just done their round in Kadavu. If bai was confident he did a good and honest campaign then he need not have worried. I suppose some intel may have reported SODELPA's successful campaign that bai is going back to recover lost ground. Going back to cover the lies which were exposed by SODELPA. As they say you have to produce more lies to cover the first one.

Anybody surprised by this? Why should anybody be? Remember Bainimarama hitched a free ride with the Fiji Army to the topmost position in the country and he has been having free everything for the last 8 years of his misrule - with no transparency and accountability.

what you are saying is correct. the baini vuaka does not know what he is doing but that does not matter for him. what matters is that he has avoided Naboro Maximum Prison and not only that now he is an Emperor wearing a Golden Garment and the public are cheering for him and the bent businessmen are giving him a lot of gifts. what more can the intellectually challenged megalomaniac ask for?

we learn from professor warden narsey (ft 3/9) that election commissioner larry thomas has said recently that the elections will be free and fair. Is larry thomas playing God? Does he know already what awaits us in the future? in light of the conduct of the Elections Minister Aiyaz Saiyad Khaiyum who also happens to be the general secretary of the coup leader cum self-appointed PM Frank Bainimarama's Fiji First Party ( wow! what a coincidence!) to deny local civil society people the right to also monitor the elections ( among his many other actions to stake things to advantage his political party) there must at this stage at least be some serious concerns about the elections being free and fair. Any truly independent observer would feel that way. But let us frank. Larry Thomas is not such an independent observer. He is a sidekick of Khaiyum. And, he has been a Bainimarama supporter and apologist from the very beginning. That's why he has been hand picked - by Khaiyum - to be an election commissioner. Larry thomas must stop trying to bullshit us.

Bai is a dictator. When he makes a statement he does not have the legal means to support his point. He makes general statements that people don't believe anymore. After all he is trying desperately to win over the people of Kadavu by hook or by crook. Moce Bai your days are numbered.
