Fijileaks says: Narayan was deputy police commissioner when the death accident happened so he should keep out of it - CONFLICT OF INTEREST

> Police High Command sources claim Narayan allegedly trying to "buy off" witness who saw the accident while sitting on a tree top;
> Dr Raj from Lautoka Hospital who attended to the deceased victim also accused of trying to "tamper" with evidence;
> But mobile phone records and witness statements reveal Bala was travelling on the wrong side of the road when the accident happened - he is charged with causing death by dangerous driving;
> The case has dragged on, on, and on - for NO MAGISTRATE could be found and yet Sri Lankan judges have been brought all the way to Fiji!
> Bala's case has been referred for hearing in JUNE now - he was charged in 2013

WHO says Justice is Blind - Just look at the two cases - a woman is remanded in custody for "belting" her 12-year-old daughter and here is Praveen Bala, charged with causing death by dangerous driving in 2013, still at large - and even stood for election and is now a Government Minister in Bainimarama-Khaiyum's FFF Government

Now this is the sort of thing one has come to regard as the norm in Bainimarama and Khaiyum's "new Fiji" of "equal citizenship" and equality before the law. The law enforcement officials are there to do these two men's bidding.this is why Bals's case has been left in abeyance for so

So don't be surprised if Ashwin Raj's case follows the same devious pattern. The surprising part is that the police got around to charging this regime Bikpela .

Yep Ravi Narayan will bend over to accommodate any thing his political masters want him to do in the hope that my being a good lap dog he will be given the Police Commissioner's post when the expatriate South African Polcom ends his term.
Indians have a rich history of chamchagiri with the political masters dating back to the time of the British Raj even before that when the Moguls ruled.
Ravi Narayan obviously has that pedigree !

What do you expect from a government where the Prime Minister (Bainimarama) is a world famous ‘Intellectual Property’ Thief (CHOR).

Where their AG (Khaiyum) is even a Bigger IP Thief (CHOR) and where also the Chief Justice of their courts, is caught twiddling with his transport allowances (as if he is not paid enough).

And where the citizens are just left to shake their heads in awe - and the victims like Puna Chand’s family are expected to remain calm and suffer in silence – the sheer injustice of it all – is what make my blood boil – Bainimarama.

That T4F cartoon on FLP Candidate is so telling of the time and tenor of our Judiciary – When Judiciary actually slept to the lullaby of Sayed-Khaiyum and awoke to repeat (parrot like) the ga…ga… goh…goh… Judgments of his Satanic verses.

The Judiciary (without an iota of doubt) stands there, shamelessly gaping at history, with its soul SOLD to the Satan – so satirically, cleverly and colorfully depicted in this cartoon. This cartoon is art/philosophy - which would be studied and spoken of, long after, the ceremonies marking Khaiyum’s and Bainimarama’s six feet under.

The Present question; - Is our Judiciary Sleeping …Again?

Our thoughts and prayers for the Puna Chand family – in memory of their very sad and tragic loss -and justice denied.

It must be hard on the Chand family to watch TV or read Fiji Sun and be constantly 'horrified' just seeing the Faces of our Fiji Leaders;

Hon. Praveen Bala (alleged drunk driver, killer of their father, brother, husband and son);
Hon. Sayed Khaiyum (Minister of (In)Justice);
Hon. Bainimarama (PM under whose sulu drunken Hon. Bala hides)

Police high Command claims that Narayan trying to "buy off" witness has to be treated with utmost seriousness. This is standard practice among corrupt police force. Officers are always trying to buy off witness and reconcile criminal cases on behalf of accused who pay them, on the police promise: 'hum case dabae de ga', or 'hum tumme bachai le ga' meaning I will cover up the case or I will save you.

This happens before and after a case has reached court, even though criminal cases are irreconcilable. I personally know of serious assault case in Labasa manipulated by a corrupt justice system. First it was adjourned. During the adjournment period, police officers put pressure on the victim to reconcile.

The victim eventually obliged when offered money, and the case disappeared into thin air! Poor, uneducated victims and witnesses are very susceptible to the financial rewards and constant police pressure.

The police officers would be paid by the accused. Sometimes magistrates and other court officials are part of the scam Lowly paid police officers are susceptible to such corruption. They have made a business out of it.

Witnesses are paid to retract statements or withdraw from the case. The whole system is geared towards this. There is a lot of delaying and stalling tactics used. This is exactly what seems to be happening the Bala's case.

This Ministers days are numbered in Gods name. Nevermind how much he dodges with laws the curse of poor workers whom he is treating like dogs is very soon popping up. His dictatorship has ruined many poor lives and also giving pain to many. Its not far .. Next time its Bala who gonna feel the pain. One can get many experts to save himself from judiciary but the Lord knows where to balance. Bala will go and personally beg to those who are suffering today. He cheated his very own NFP but will be punished for his wrong actions.

it's not a race thing. fiji has been rife with corruption when fijians were running it; it was no better under mara, rabuka and qarase. but you don't want to know that do you? you in denial about it. thats typical of racists, totally blind to their own faults and weaknesses, but quick to point fingers at others.

Very sad. I wonder how he got peoples vote in order to enter the parliament. Condolence to the family members of the deceased. How simple it is for politicians...our leaders to defend their own at the cost of someone's life. Very cheap. Double standards....
