LESSON from Egypt: Chiefs should hold their heads in shame for not standing up and even dying to defend peoples rights instead of blaming Aiyaz Khaiyum and Frank Bainimarama for Fiji's agony since 2006

Fijian Commoner

The dictator told them to go and drink home brew under the mango tree and that is what they have been doing since 2006. I think if they don;t want to stand up and lead us through the streets of Fiji, we should not allow them near any villages, Parliament or anywhere if and when elections are held in the country. And that applies to all the leaders - from FLP to Felix Anthony's parties etc. These people are cowards and political leeches - if they lose elections they will retreat to their mangrove swamps from where they have been making occasional noises. Three thousand Fijian moron sotias are no match to even 50,000 determined resisters. Frank and Aiyaz will run out of Fiji. We should not give them a cent or a vote if we see their names on electoral list of candidates.

that's the sickness in Fijian society...not driven by principles but by paisa and ignorance is bliss. a selfish lot really when it boils down to it guised as forgiveness or easy island life. pathetic really.
So commoner, its really up to us the ordinary suffering people to stand up. Not chiefs and politicians who have proven to be gutless and not true leaders at all.

We are not all on the side of the regime but we are not going to die if these chiefs sit back with folded arms drinking their home brew. They need to move for us to move against the regime.

Why should you depend on chiefs? You never stood up to defend your chief when GCC suspended, rents reduced, all became fijian etc etc,,,,,,
You all a bunch of losers. Meanwhile dont worry about me cause why should i serve you when i dont get paid?? I know that i will always drink the first bowl so who really gives a shit eh??

true kerekere
we the chiefs are relaxing and not bothering anyone. Go to chief warwar and slam him.
why should i waste my time and energy leading when all lease money which used to go to me to help in leadrship is now taken away?
Lead yourselves bothis and leave me in peace to relax on my beach front, farm my huge land and drink the first bilo in the village hall.
A relaxed life for me and let these govt people look after the people.
As for Bainikaiyum, they dont need a chief to deal with them - they need a bullet in the head from another soldier ,,,very simple!
