In November Avneel Chand told Reema Gokal that LPU has
charged Renee Lal with various offences:

In January 2016 he informed Ms Gokal that the case will be called on
Wednesday, 10 February 2016:

NOW HE IS HIDING FROM MS GOKAL AND FIJILEAKS, REFUSING TO INFORM VICTIM GOKAL IF RENEE LAL APPEARED BEFORE LPU!

And Fiji Police are not far behind - they keep informing Ms Gokal that they can't find Renee Lal to interview her (Lal) over alleged misappropriation of Ms Gokal's $100,000 for personal use while employed at Jamnadas & Co!

My Tata ( may his soul rest in peace) taught me that being intelligent was a necessary but not sufficient condition to qualify as a good citizen or indeed as a good human being. It was imperative to have a working moral compass to guide you to do what is right.
Now some lawyer babus might be very smart ( that's why they could qualify as lawyers) but the don't have a working moral compass. Their moral compass is phucked. So they have no qualms about doing what is NOT right. From what Fijileaks has revealed about this LPU lawyer Avneel Chand I get the distinct impression he belongs in the category of people with defective moral compass. He is in good company with Khaiyum and Sarvadal Sharma and Ashneel Sudhakar and the like .

Just one correction to Chiku's comment.
Avneel Chand is a total ' defective' person.

So victim Gokul will have to wait for some more time b4 this two cent lawyer gets back to her.

... Locking the Gokals in their home and threatening them to sign police statement against Fijileaks shows there are different layers of thug rule in Fiji, not only the political thug rule at the national level.
