Mal-Intent
21/3/2016 02:27:16 am

Bai-Kai's intent is evil. They are not there to alleviate the hardships. They are out there to get publicity of their stunts which they think will help them in next election. If their intent was genuine, they would have called the parliament, and approved a solid package of rehabilitation assistance. They are not interested in this. Kai think he has all the solutions. Bai is foolish enough to believe that this is so. They care least about malnutrition. They care none for people's livelihood on Koro or in any koro. They have contempt for Koro and for koro people.

Lovely cartoon. Every facial expression conveys a message. Chaudhry's conniving. Media too insignificant. Auntie knows military and police are in her pockets. Kai's angry and greedy. Bai's angry. The beer bottle would have added class to his greed.

Post cyclone food rations targeted adults, the children were forgotten. That's understandable. After all it's the adults who will vote in the next election.
Children Our Hope is the lofty ideals preached but no priority given to children at a time when they need help most. What a shame on the Bainimarama government.

Bainimarama, Khaiyum, Koya, Bano and other regime chamchas didn't have to forego a single meal since the Winston disaster struck Fiji. Well so long as they are well fed the rest of the people of Fiji, including starving children have to be happy. What they used to say after the coup. Don't Worry, Be Happy.

PM Fund Breeding Corruption
21/3/2016 09:31:47 pm

The PM relief fund is the bastion of corruption. I talked to many who donated to this fund. Everyone said they did it because they expect Government favours. One even said that he expects Kai to come hard on those who do not donate to this fund. Included in this group are his competitors. This Fund must be taken away form PM's office and managed independently. A legislation must be put in place to create an independent disaster management authority. No govt minister should be covered in the media dishing out taxpayer money, or money under their budget or aid money. Any such thing must rest at the PS level, not Minister level. Minister can only donate form his personal earnings. Hey, but who will listen to such suggestions for people like me who have suffered at almost every cyclone and flood in western Fiji. Kai knows it all.

Areh baya, you will know from history that the likes of the late Temo Stuart who headed the PM's Hurricane Relief Fund during the days of the Mara Alliance government, who built himself a magnificent home on Lakeba from material supplied for hurricane relief.

And what about Makrava who built a two-storey palace on Rotuma from NBF funds?

Or, likewise, a certain lady in the old Fiji Sports Council who diverted funds for the building of flush toilets for every house on her home island of Bau!

Then came Mahen Chod nd the unaccounted millions from India for Cyclone Ami.

The idea that the PM's Relief Fund is a 'bastion of corruption' is not a new phenomenon. You are right on the money on this. Lets see what the current mob will get up to this time.

After Winston, my family and I did not have the stomach to eat after seeing the devastation in our country and seeing that so many people are without homes and food, we ate biscuits and drank lemon leaf tea all week. We gave whatever we had in our wallets , in bank accounts and in our kitchen to help our countrymen. How can the leaders of the govt do any less? How can they not deduct 10% or even 20% from their cushy wages to help assist the victims like SODELPA opposition members did?

Whoever came up with this stupid coconuti wireless news is the stupid crook who unfortunatly didnt get a seat in parliment. Its already hard on people who really struggle to live a normal life without racial discrimination. This kind of comments really make indigenous hate Muslims and Indians altogether. What good does this bring to Fiji as a whole, or let me guess to let SODELPA win.Im no politician Im a simple citizen of Fiji,And it is obvious that the fight is just between the Government of today and the opposition, And that live us simple citizen to fight like monkeys to choose whoever is doing the real work. people can eat as much as they want because they either earn it or sweat it. Who are you to judge. You are no different from Bainimarama... Dictator my FOOOOOOOT... He has forced rich people to think of us simple people. Why do the media see only the bad side of Frank.NO ONE in the history of Fijian leaders has done what he has done.He fullfilled promises. Past leaders they just sit relax and filled their pockets.

@Truth, you are not a simple citizen. You are a STUPID citizen. Frank did not fulfill promises. He FOOLED the people and FILLED is pocket. Remember the bullshit back pay soon after his unlawful takeover? He has been filling his pocket ever since. Getting his family into high paid jobs. He is the most corrupt leader in the history of Fiji. He has"forced" rich people to donate to the Fiji First Theft Party if they want to be considered for favours from his govt.
Truth, are you one of the rich, simple citizens who got favours from Frank or Khaiyum?
I bet you did.
