too long they have their tails between their legs. Anyway, as far as Sitiveni Rabuka is concerned, a higher degree, including a PhD is nothing but a PHONEY HIGH DEGREE that Dr Biman Prasad holds from the University of Queensland in Australia

COMMENT: WHAT is worrying is that the renewal of Mohammed Saneem’s appointment is illegal but the Opposition parties don’t seem to have the stomach to challenge it in the Fiji High Court despite their joint letter to Frank Bainimarama and Aiyaz Khaiyum that it be rescinded. Because of current differences within the Opposition, it is most likely that they will not be able to pursue their demand any further so, like in previous elections, Saneem and his mentor will continue their “divide and rule” tactics over the Opposition. The conviction of gross insubordination by the Fiji High Court was clear evidence that Saneem chose to defy the directives of his immediate bosses, the Fijian Electoral Commission (FEC) which made it quite obvious that he was taking direct orders from his mentor. If the Opposition does not take a strong collective stand now on Saneem’s appointment, it will simply mean that Saneem will again run roughshod over his current bosses the FEC and will again take direct orders from his mentor…..a first sure step to election rigging. And if FFG again wins through rigging, will the Opposition still accept the outcome and take up their seats in Parliament …like business as usual ? The mind boggles!
But what else can we expect from the Opposition, especially from that Smart Ass Professor and NFP leader DR BIMAN PRASAD.
We say, he can continue to churn out his garbage theses in the Fiji Times.
