He was raking in $56,000 in salary, funded by taxpayers, to muzzle press except regime propaganda machine FIJI SUN; in June Fijileaks Ex-Fiji Sun Election Team snapped him taking photos inside Aunty Nur Bano Ali's building during the launching of the FijiFirst Party; HE should NOT have been there as part of the media pack, for he was supposedly neutral media overlord - already there was conflict of interest in June; DID his other barking media Rottweiler Ashwin Raj had advance knowledge that his side-kick was planning to stand as a FijiFirst party election candidate? Did Akauola resign before Khaiyum submitted his name to Supervisor of Elections?

I am still waiting for the outcome of my compalint refer FBCL.Its over months now .Sanjesh of Radio Tarana NZ told me that FBCL requested the story and Tarana/Fbc took tv interview and played one sided story. thats not balance reporting and defame me with putting up in news/facebooks/others. I hope to hear from you all soon. Justice have to be served. I have read in news that Mr Raj is very quick to ask question from USP Prof.Why is FBCL CEO Riaz Khaiyum is not taken to task and asked hard question.rgdsRajesh Singh

Another regime lackey Savenaca Vakaliwaliwa who has been writing pro-regime propaganda letters to editor left right and centre and the "independent" local newspaers have been publishing them left right and centre has now announced via another letter to editor in both the Fiji Times and the Fiji Sun (17/8) that it is official he is a regime party Fiji First candidate. But isn't the MIDA an independent body? Oh, it's only independent in name. In practice it's an instrument of the Bai-Kai regime to muscle the media and sweep complaints under the carpet and even to propagandize for the regime on the sly.
