 Fijileaks: Should heads roll in NFP hierarchy?

ACCOUNTING FIRM QUIZZED: The accounting firm – APNR – in the centre of the now suspended National Federation Party’s (NFP) accounts had earlier been cited for auditing accounts when they were not allowed to.

A letter obtained by the Fiji Sun written to the firm by the Fiji Institute of Accountants.

The letter stated: “We have received a report from Mr Mohammed Saneem, the Supervisor of Elections that you had provided an audit report on the Accounts of the National Federation Party for the year 2014 that was published in the Fiji Sun on 13th November 2015 and that you had submitted to him a copy of your certificate of membership as a registered Chartered Accountant of the Fiji Institute of Accountants as evidence of your authority to provide an audit report and to represent yourself auditor.

“Regrettably, this is not the first instance when your firm APNR Partners has provided an audit report when your firm was not authorised to do so. On 3rd August 2015, we received an enquiry from the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court as to whether Mr Riaz Khan of your firm was authorised to provide an audit report on the Trust Accounts of Lagilevu Law, AP Legal, Tirath Sharma Lawyers. As Mr Riaz Khan was not a registered Chartered Accountant member of the Institute nor the holder of a certificate of public practice, we so informed the Chief Registrar.

“The matter of your audit report on the Accounts of the National Federation Party will be reported to the Institute’s Investigation Committee for consideration.”

When contacted for comments last night, Mr Khan said he was driving and to call back later.

Subsequent calls made to his mobile number remained unanswered when this edition went to press. Source: Fiji Sun: http://fijisun.com.fj/2016/02/03/accounting-firm-quizzed/

"Good Afternoon, Dear Mr Saneem, We refer to your letter dated 06/01/2016. In this regard, we advise that we are not a member of CPP (Fiji). Furthermore, we would advise that we are member of Certified Practising Accountant (CPA Australia). (Find attached CPA Certificate). Please do let me know if you need any further clarification. WHAT ABOUT FIJI'S MASTER CHOR WHO WAS BEHAVING LIKE A LAWLESS GOONDA UNDER HIS OWN PER?

Fijileaks: We must not forget that the first to violate the Political Parties Decree was Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum when he secretly registered FFP after stealing the name from the original Fiji First Party!
When Khaiyum registered his "own" Fiji First Party domain name and e-mail account Fiji was under his
State of Public Emergency Regulations and no political activities of any kind or manner was allowed to any law-abiding citizens of Fiji. BUT KHAIYUM PUT HIMSELF ABOVE HIS OWN LAW on 11 November 2009; now he and his cheerleaders are accusing NFP of breaching decree by holding press conference when suspended - at least NFP tried to clarify unlike Khaiyum who is still hiding from Fijileaks and the law for breaching his own PER by registering political party

KHAIYUM HAD VIOLATED HIS OWN POLITICAL PARTIES DECREE NO 4 (2013) BY EXTENDING THE DOMAIN NAME IN JANUARY 2014 & ADDING THE E-MAIL ADDRESS AS FIJIFIRST2014@GMAIL.COM WHEN THE PROPOSED FIJIFIRST PARTY WAS YET TO BE REGISTERED & APPROVED!

(1) In 2007 Bainimarama had announced that the electoral system would be changed to abolish the race-based constituencies and that elections would be held in 2010;
(2) He had lied he won't stand for elections;
(3) On 11 November 2009 Khaiyum had registered the FijiFirst domain name for Bainimarama but they cancelled the promised election;
(4) On 17 Janaury 2014 Bainimarama said he will soon announce the formation of his political party to contest the election;
(5) On 21 January 2014 Khaiyum extended the FijiFirst domain for Bainimarama in preparation for September 2014 general election;
(6) The e-mail fijifirst2014@gmail.com had the Fiji flag and the Coat of Arms

Victor could you please publish the Govt. Gazette which is evidence of original Fiji First Party registration ,so that the plagiarists can be shown up for their thievery by Decree.
This plagiarist must have done the same in Hong Kong University ,now we should all wonder if "his" Master's thesis is his or copied from somewhere else or someone else's hard work

The accountants are qualified and hold international recognition. I understand that their accounting firm is not registered to undertake such audit work.

In fact, the supervisor of elections, Mohammed Saneem should be given a boot for waking up too late.

He had accepted an earlier audit report from the same firm in 2014.

Some can Butako a government ; some can butareki others; some can choro others political party name, some can get away without presenting an auditor generals report for 8 years but these self- same scoundrels suspend a political party for getting the wrong accountant to do their books! What a farce!
