Nirmal Singh: “I will encourage the elected government to immediately get into negotiations with Australia, New Zealand and the United States to pursue being part of the New Zealand, Australia and the United States Defense Treaty (ANZUS)."

Nirmal Singh! There is NO ANZUS (except in theory). New Zealand took itself out of the Alliance and the Treaty has been in indefinite coma since 1986, so WAKE UP!

On reforming the RFMF, Nirmal Singh might want to read the Defence White Paper of 2004 that Victor Lal had exposed in the Fiji Sun in November 2006 and subsequently reproduced by the pro-democracy blog Coupfourpointfive in 2010 below:

This is the very reason PDP kiceked nirmala out of PDP.
He just thought that he is too good and was always speaking shit. All the best to the party which take him on board.
Nirmala is a traitor and be aware of that fact

We have a file on Victor Lal. He is still our prime target for prosecution. He was the go-between Pita Driti and Ratu Ului Mara to overthrow our esteemed leader Commodore Frank Bainimarama. Welcome to Fiji, Victor, if you dare!

If it is true, we salute Victor! We can't wait to entertain you, DPP Prosecutor, your leader Frank, Khaiyum and all others who will shortly join his party. Long live the opponents of Fiji's dictator. We are looking after Driti well! He will be set free not in the too distant future. Revolution is around the corner!
